Matt Cassel = GREAT Game
ESPN - NY Jets vs. New England - Box Score - November 13, 2008
At the half: 14/24 passing, 199 yards, 1 td, no int's. 4 rushes for 42 yards. Good, productive, smart, mistake-free game so far. Just needs to improve red zone vision. [edit] Finishes with 400 yards, 30 for 50 attempts, 3 td's, 65 yards rushing, and a final drive with no timeouts left, 1 minute remaining on the clock, starting on his own 35, and scoring the game tying TD on the last drive. |

Cassel is looking like the real deal. Too bad he'll be with the Jets next year.

True, can't complain about Cassel tonight. It's just too bad nobody around him wants to win.
McDaniels not having a very good night either. Another possession killed on 3rd and short. |

The way he's playing now and has been the past 3 games, Cassel is better than 50% of the NFL's starting QB's... which is an amazing pickup to select a guy who didn't even start in college.
