Brady update
Infection slows Patriots quarterback Brady's rehab - The Boston Globe
Serious uncertainty. Sounds like he will not be ready for TC and probably a good bit therafter. Makes me think that the team will be looking for a little QB insurance this summer. I wonder what they would have to sacrifice to pony up the money to keep Cassel? Is it even possible given what other teams will offer? |
Re: Brady update
*Sigh*
If you read a story that it's going to rain tomorrow, do you assume there will be a flood? I love phrases like, "In all likelihood..." More NFL sources too. Just prepare yourself for this "story" of mights, maybes, expert opinions and NFL sources every few weeks...until they actually have real, hard facts on his condition. |

Yes, there is still some uncertainty still, but this article is encouraging, not discouraging. It looks like this will only be a month or so setback rather than months or over a year or his career as people were predicting several weeks ago. I did not see anything that said he wouldn't be ready for training camp. In fact, they stated the opposite was a definite possibility. |

I still think its way to early to speculate, he has 8-9 months to be ready. I think the best thing for all would have Brady speak up himself and say how he really is doing.. This damn staph infection, is a serious thing.. |

That said. I saw this piece as positive not negative. The headline is deceiving. Yes, there is a threat of scarring, but that is a thread without an infection. But it is increased with the infection, but not neccessarily a definite possibility. |
Re: Brady update
There is nothing news-like about this article. Tripe.

Otherwise, it is all speculation and conjecture just like the stuff that went on a few weeks ago that had Brady anywhere from a few week set back to the doctors needing to amputate his leg. It will just lead to more people calling WEEI with their horror stories of unrelated ACL injuries from 20 years ago to compare to Brady. |
