Love Them Long Drives
19 plays, 9:08, 92 yards, 7 points. That's what I call Patriots football :D

Re: Love Them Long Drives
Actually that's a franchise record. No Patriots team has ever had a 19 play drive. I'm not sure about whether the 9+ minutes has been surpassed.
Too bad Special Teams got sloppy right after it - but a great win just the same. |
Re: Love Them Long Drives
Just awful. That was 19 chances to throw the ball deep to Moss, and they blew it.

Re: Love Them Long Drives
That is playoff football right there. For everyone whining about us not going vertical, you have to realize this team is going to pick its spots and in the meantime keep the other offense off the field. It will pay off when it matters.

Re: Love Them Long Drives
Over here in the UK we actually missed a play. Not sure if this was a CBS issue or a UK coverage issue. Either way it was the hook up to Gaffney to get the first and goal. It's so infuriating when a play is missed

Re: Love Them Long Drives
We could have used this type of football in the playoffs the last 2 years... but it just wasn't there. Today we were getting this done with Matt Cassel at QB and an undrafted rookie free agent RB with more names than you can count! That's pretty amazing.

Re: Love Them Long Drives
That was old time football at it's best ... just like the old days when teams would run it down your throat in the 4th quater. In many ways this offense is a pleasant blend of the old and the new. having the OL intact doesn't hurt too much either.;):D
