Balance of the Senate and the House.

As of 9:45 est ... the scorecard is:

Senate +4 for the democrats

House +1 for the democrats.

I think you're thinking of his dad. This Sununu was just a one-term Senator. I think it was pretty much just a changity change change vote. Sununu was actually fairly independent, he was one of the first to call out the nomination of Alberto Gonzales and to speak against the Patriot Act. This was mostly just a guilt by association vote I believe.
