Next 3 games could decide our season
I dont have much analysis of this game. A strange game ,just didnt work out for many reasons. hard to blame anyone having a bad game. Mad some mistakes and cost us the game . ****** happens. 99 % of time the other teams imploded, for a change it was us. i chalk it up as "one of those games".
Without my starting QB, 1st ,2nd and 3rd string RB, starting veteran safety i will take it(albeit a hard one). Put this kind of injuries on any team even with this schedule, things would be worse. Next 3 games bills, jets @ miami will decide our season. I see all 3 games going either way and surprisingly fish are the biggest test IMO.Really wished bills had won today they we had to just battle it out with them. The win gives jets some confidence. Lets hope todays performance on D and o line continues in the next 3 games. |

Very well said. I think your right. The next 3 games will decide the remainder of the season. I will be very happy with 2 - 3. Pretty certain we can beat the Jest again and the Bills will be a hard but good win.....and I also think your right about the fish......we have just had bad luck with them...... Well we shall see. Long week ahead of us to prepare for the Bills. GO PATS!! |
Re: Next 3 games could decide our season
We also still control our own destiny for a first round bye. Only a half game behind Pittsburgh and they come to Gilette.

Re: Next 3 games could decide our season
The rest of November is extremely crucial and here's how it lines up. IMO a division title requires 4-0 sweep in these games because Miami and Buffalo have extremely easy schedules the rest of the way. The good thing is the Pats control their destiny, it could be as good as another division title and #2 seed or a WC birth.

Re: Next 3 games could decide our season
Lets just hope that this doesnt turn into another 02 season. It was very painful to beat Miami, only to lose the division anyway. Based off of the jets Nov, I say stick a fork in em. They wont make the playoffs. Bills are good, but inconsistant. Miami is like the roach that just wont die.
I think we beat all three, but I don't know about Pitt. |

Re: Next 3 games could decide our season
I would change the word "could" to "will". If the Pats can't win the
AFC East, I don't expect them to be in the playoffs. Buffalo appears to be wilting. Bret Favre can put points on the board and will do so if he can pass without any pressure. Old friend Joey Porter is licking his chops looking forward to kicking the hell out of Matt Cassel again. I can't see how the Pats can go very far without a pass rush and having to settle for field goals instead of touucdowns. I'll be at the Buffalo game to root them on. |
