Barack Obama could not fulfill the Oath of the President of the United States
The oath of office for the President of the United States says:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." Oath of Office for President of the United States Barack Obama, however, says that the US Constitution is "fundamentally flawed": "And in that sense, I think we can say that the Constitution reflected an enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day, and that the Framers had that same blind spot. I don’t think the two views are contradictory, to say that it was a remarkable political document that paved the way for where we are now, and to say that it also reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day." Obama: U.S. Constitution Reflects the Fundamental Flaw of this Country that Continues to this Day Crystal Clear Conservative LiveLeak.com - OBAMA SAYS US CONSTITUTION DEEP FLAW Obama rips U.S. Constitution and thus, he could never be trusted to fulfill the oath of the office of President, simply because Obama believes the Constitution is faulty as it is. // |

Re: Barack Obama could not fulfill the Oath of the President of the United States
This very much IS a problem for Barack Hussein Obama, the first "clean, articulate African-American" (Joe Biden's words, not mine) to seek the highest office in the land.
So little is known about Obama, a man who keeps his history a closely guarded secret, a man who leaks out tiny little dribs and drabs about himself, just enough to say: "Hey, I already went over that. Let's move on." But people are NOT moving on. Obama has a very unsavory past: from being raised in the Islamic State of Indonesia to attending a racist, anti-American church in Chicago for 20 years ("Jeremiah Wright is like an uncle to me." -- BO), to his long-time association with William Ayers and other unrepentant domestic terrorists, to Obama's university tutor, Saul Alinsky, a HARD-CORE Marxist, even a communist. So many, many hidden facts about Obama that he has never explained because he hopes people will just let it slide because he is the "first African-American" presidential candidate. And, he's not even that: Jesse Jackson ran; Alan Keyes has run, and some wanted Frederick Douglass to run 130 years ago. Obama is just hoping you will forget all that, while he spins another speech full of platitudes and half-truths, sometimes downright lies. // |

This is of course an absurd point, and Fog's reasoning is Constitutionally flawed. Almost every president has acknolwedged flaws in the Constitution, whether those flaws involves gun rights, abortion rights, marriage rights, discrimination, taxes, slavery, etc. In this country, we have what's called Freedom of Speech where we can openly and honestly point to and acknowledge flaws in the Constitution. Those flaws are corrected by Amendments or by the Supreme Court, though in the case of Bush they were sometimes corrected by signing statements, something Obama has promised not to use in the corrupt way Bush did.

The Defense of Marriage Act protects the legal integrity of the family. Anybody who does not want that does not understand the history of America and how America grew to be a great nation, the greatest in history, in fact. What Obama is saying is that the Constitution does not have a provision for what amounts to reparations, payments to an entire race of people due to past mistakes. Such an idea would completely bankrupt the country; it would create an entire class of people, based upon race, which would be getting a ton of money while doing nothing.... not a recipe for a healthy society. It is punitive in nature and would destroy the economy. // |

dont feel bad, we have been making amendments since the beginning, so you are in good company with all the other people who have called America home. As far what Obama SAID, you are putting things in Obama's mouth he never said. Therefore, you are bearing false witness again. Give us the quotes where Obama SAID he wants to: "create an entire class of people, based upon race, which would be getting a ton of money while doing nothing" He didnt say that any more than he follows the same policies as Karl Marx, another LIE, spread by people who want to win an election more than they want to follow the Laws of God, which command that we dont lie and that we dont bear false witness. If people spread rumors and lies in your church the way so many so-called God fearing people are doing during this campaign I dont think that would be such a good thing now, do you? |
