even from the beginning

(but even more so as time has starting to go by)

matt cassel has reminded me of Tom Brady...sure not in every aspect of the game, but in many...

(disclaimer to the weak hearted, im not COMPARING one to the other, but simply saying they more often then not look similar on the football field, so stop ur whinning)

Yeah, I posted about this in the VIP forum (really, you should join, its worth the $$$).

He looked good today, sensing the rush more than he has in the past, stepping up and making throws. He still pulled it down a bit more than i'd like, but he's progressing pretty well.

He's also getting Moss involved more (and would have a bunch more, had Moss not dropped a few). I like what Im seeing...

It seems like in interviews lately that Cassel has been mentioning more often that he had been talking to Brady for advice and such. Maybe he's been talking to him more these days because he did look like he'd been working on his pocket moves a lot this week.

Part of it was just better coverage by the line though.

No, I missed it. I carved my eyes out of my skull with an ice cream scoop and replaced them with Cadbury Creme eggs.

5 points if you know where I got that from.

Cassel did well today. The guys on the 5th Quarter mentioned that they all felt that Cassel had a better game today than last week, and I think I might agree. Moss should have had 1 (if not 2) TD catches, and neither of those INTs were really his fault (mayyyyyybe the Welker fallover one, but I don't really think so). Great game by Cassel today, he seemed very confident.

Every week he plays better and better (omit SD) - just as so many of those posters in here that were called "homers" had indicated we should all wait for.

Funny how the haters have been nowhere to be found in the past few weeks, they are really silent, only to treturn when the Pats next lose a game. Pathetic.

Cassel seems to maturing in front of our eyes, let's hope he can keep doing what needs to be done to keep improving and winning.

5-2 first place - amazing - GO PATS.
