The Core of the Team minus Tom Brady...

Is weak...

The 2 lines, are not near top in the league, the LBs aren't good enough to overcome the weakness in the Dline, the WRs can't do anything when the Oline is playing like it is...

Can't Run, can't pressure the QB....

The core lines are simply poor, and this year it's over without TB making those units look better...

The Dline looked bad last year, looked real bad in some games, but playing with a 40 point lead tends to make you look better...

I think this year you need to put in someone your going to groom as a future starter or compentent backup, Cassel is in hos last year, and wont be here next year, no need to have him in there anymore.

You contradicted yourself.
you say the recievers cant do anything with the OL playing like this. Well in that case thats not a fault on the WRs

Moss and wleker for 3 and 5 years i dont think many teams would have a problem with that.

What I meant to say is that the WRs aren't able to show their skill due to the Oline, the WR arent the core...the lines are

so did brady make belichick into the great coach he is today? perhaps.

I don't know what it is. They're obviously weak as well in the secondary, the front 7 can't get a sack to save its life all of a sudden. The Pats really do suck all around this season, and I can't explain how Brady being out would cause that. There's not one single area of the game this team is good at. Blocking, running, passing, defense.

I'm not trying to be negative but I've never seen a worse Pats team, this team makes the 05 team look good.

Same could be said for Brady. Would he have 3 titles without Bill's defense? A great coach and QB go hand in hand.

No, that '05 defense was bad against the run and pass. At least their decent against the run this year.

The offense that year more than makes up for that. They could at least compete and come back. This team can't handle that.
