Twists and turns, crazy election to be sure. Has it always been like this and I've never paid enough attention to it? I thought I was paying attention all those years... |

No, it has never been like this before. Maybe for some people during the 1850s or at the very beginning of America's Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in the late 1700s there were a few people who were taking things very seriously, and differences were very sharply defined. But it terms such basic and stark contrasts of philosophy and background, you can't can't more of a difference than Obama and McCain. And today's unsettled feeling of what America is really all about, where indeed are we going, and how we are going to get there ... all these questions are producing an atmosphere of intensity that is greater by far than any election over at least the past several decades. America is one people and one culture; we can never afford to allow ourselves to be broken down into many "sub-cultures", based on income, "celebrity", race, religion, or anything else. // |
Re: Head of NOW. LA chapter Endorses Palin
Also, regarding NOW: something is definitely going on here. Hillary Clinton and Bill both speak very admiringly of Sarah Palin. They both acknowledge her natural talent and ability to speak to people; they like the fact that Palin is not afraid of expressing herself without apology. Plus, the fact that Palin can state her mind and even disagree with others without being unfriendly about it is really a breath of fresh air!!
Something's going on here ..... and it looks good. // |
Re: Head of NOW. LA chapter Endorses Palin
Interesting endorsement, may be a kiss of death, as being endorsed by the head of the LA Chapter that supports equal rights, abortion and a bunch of other stuff that is usually associated with the left may not be the best thing for Sarah..

Re: Head of NOW. LA chapter Endorses Palin
NOW was headed down the toilet after they just looked the other way on all the left wing democrat and Anti American "Women Abusers",
Uncle Teddy (Mary Jo) Billy Blue Dress (List To Big To Post) Muslims (All Their Women) Rap Crap Singers (Ho's & B!tches) All the rest of the Kennedy Men, especially "Old Joe" the father he made his wife look like a used rug, he humiliated her for all of her life other women constantly snickered behind her back, her only relief was running to church and praying, JFK & Bobby were just like him. NOW is finally getting smart, they have to "back all women" not just the Democrats if they are to hold respect from all the people, Comservative Republican women are "female's" also. Sarah: They see a women who is on her way up, they see the First Female President and she has arrived a lot sooner than the people expected the trouble is for the Left Wing Marxist Socialist, this women is a Patriotic, Flag Waving, Common Sense, Law & Order, No Nonsense Fighter who will take no ***** from anybody, she will keep America a lot safer than the Slobbering Liberal Barack Hussein Obama would ever dream of doing. Mccain the hero of the Illegal Alien, the luke warm democrat should step aside and put Sarah at the top of the ticket. GOD BLESS AMERICA "YOU BETCHA" |
