2.5 pt dogs this week...

I'm guessing NE would have been about a 7 pt favorite with Brady.

I thought the Jets could be a little more - this 2.5 is for HF, I think I'd give the points (take the Jets) if I had to put money on it just because we have no idea how Cassel will react to being on the road.

Farve will find a way to hand the game to the Pats. I see him losing the game more than our QB winning it.

I thought it was going to be 4-4.5 to be honest.

Typically, the home team gets 3 points. So, that is basically saying that, without Brady, the teams are even.

Yep...whether that's true or not, I guess we'll find out.

I love it. More fuel for firing up the troops.

Anyone recall the score the last time the Pats played against Favre? I'm thinking it was like 35-0.....

Both TDs he threw would have been defended much better by NE. Cotchery might have still made it, he's got some wheels and has burned us before, but that prayer that Favre threw with three Miami defenders around the receiver gets broken up by Harrison, Meriweather, and O'Neal/Hobbs.

If we can hold the Jets to 13 points (20 minus that play), I think we'll be ok.

I kind of think of any spread favoring the home team by less than three points as saying that the visitors would win except for the home field advantage.

To be honest, I'd have put the spread at 5 or 5.5, not just because of the injury but because of the proximity of the injury to the game. Otherwise, I think the Pats would have been favored by a TD.
