OK...am I in a complete state of denial?

Is it possible that Belichick's half-time speech in which he told his team to expect to play without Brady for the rest of the season may have had a chain reaction that has fueled all these reports? Players were fed the line, told the media he was done (Dilfer report, some others), media speculates its ACL, Silver runs w it, Borges runs w it, Schefter picks it up, nobody wants to miss out on the party.

Since when does injury news get leaked out of Foxboro?

I'm waiting for some MRI results.

I hope you are correct!!!! Just too many negative reports though. Basically everyone has said he's done.

I'm also waiting on tomorrow's results......but, I'm not optimistic.....

on the flip side, if it turns out he just misses the next couple games it'll seem like xmas x100.

by the way, I WANT brady back, but this IS a team sport --- and I'm not just bull****ting about that to cheer myself up.

It still seems like if he could walk off the field, the injury CAN'T be THAT bad, right??

In an era where any hack writer can make up sources and publish in places like The Herald, I wouldn't put it past the media to run with little evidence. Look at how huge Spygate became when it wasn't as evil as people thought. The Pats were punished for recording what the entire viewing public can see on TV or in a stadium, yet the media blew it totally out of proportion.

I was pretty much in denial as well until I seen the still picture of Bradys knee going in another direction. I'm no doctor by any means but I would be suprised as all hell if Brady makes it back for the playoffs.

Damn straight it's possible, and I also think it's possible some lower level employee or guard overheard something a trainer was saying as the door was closing out of context or something, like "Gonna have to go without him" meaning for today, taken to mean all year.

I REFUSE to believe it as well unless confirmed!
