PFT: Waiver Process

ProFootballTalk.com - A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE WAIVER PROCESS

Ran across this in PFT. Given all the activity this weekend, I thought it might be worth posting.

The comment section raises some interesting questions too.

One thing the PFT article did not mention is how long the

player claimed had to remain on the 53 man roster. How long?

IIRC, there's no requirement if you claim a player off waivers. If you sign a player off another team's PS, though, I believe the player has to stay on the 53 for three weeks.
