Where the roster breakdown is headed
QB -- 3 Absent an injury to O'Connell, it seems there will be 3 QBs all season.
RB -- 5 But if somebody gets injured for the year, that could go down by 1. TE -- 3 They don't seem enthusiastic about only having 2. 4, however, seems excessive. WR -- 5-7 It's 7 at the moment, with 3 of the 7 being distinguished for their ST play and a 4th being Jones. OL -- 9 They like it at 9. But if somebody gets hurt sufficiently late in the season, they could let it decrease. Offense -- 25-27 K/P/LS -- 3 DL -- 6 That's where it is. LB -- 9 That's where it is, and the depth doesn't seem luxurious. S -- 4-5 Lynch seemingly has a good chance of returning. CB -- 4-5 Depth seems tight right now at 4. Defense -- 23-25 My top figures add to 55, for an excess of 2. Those slots can be found at WR or DB any time, or perhaps later on at other positions after players are sent to IR (or otherwise depart). |

Makes sense...they coudl go 7 DL...and that LB number could shift as well...ut number wise

Re: Where the roster breakdown is headed
With CB at 5 now, one of the WRs is apt to be on the chopping block when Faulk returns.
Either that, or they decide they can get by w/ 2 TEs after all. |
