Re: Reiss' predicted 53
it looks good and people will criticize me for saying this but I wish there was a spot for ventrone. give the guy a shot in the regular season. he makes things happen.

Re: Reiss' predicted 53
I think Aiken goes IR and Ventrone makes the team

Re: Reiss' predicted 53
I like it. No use carrying a 3rd TE just to have one. Im sure the revoving door will be at that position all year.
Young LB's (Redd, Guyton) really step up and force their way on the team. |
Re: Reiss' predicted 53
Ya, tough call with Ventrone but if Aiken is healthy I go with him

Re: Reiss' predicted 53
Richardson I am not so sure about unless he goes on IR

Re: Reiss' predicted 53
It wouldn't surprise me to see a bit of shuffling - maybe at CB, brining in a cut from another team. If there's anyone at TE available they could get a look as well - and I'd still maintain that even with Gutierrez "extensive experience" in the NFL, I'm not sure his performance justifies keeping him.
If someone wants to suggest an actual experienced veteran QB to give us three QBs I'd be open to that, however aside from that I'd go with 2. |
Re: Reiss' predicted 53
Good list. Lots of young players for the future.

Re: Reiss' predicted 53
If I am correct we had 9 draft picks this year - 7 might make the final cut? - Thats pretty good...I think

Re: Reiss' predicted 53
I think Aiken would be great to keep for special teams but am unsure of his physical status. I agree that Ventrone seems to make things happen out there and would love to see him on this team, especially since he's one of those guys who could play defensive back in a pinch- just don't know where unless Aiken goes to IR as previously stated.
I like the idea of keeping Guyton; he's an interesting player with a lot of upside and great speed who should make some key special teams contributions this year. How much value does Eric Alexander have to this team? I've seen him make some nice special teams plays (so that's probably my answer) but am not overly impressed with his LB play. I also like the idea of getting rid of Cassel and keeping the other two QB's; he's got too much of that deer in the headlights thing going on to be successful if called upon. |
