Mark Schlereth just said Brady's injury was significant

Just saw it on BSPN. He said to miss the third pre-season game pretty much indicated that his foot injury must be significant because of how much that game means to a teams season preparation.

How many snaps did Randy Moss take in last year's preseason game 3?

I didn't recall Tomlinson in game 3 last year for SD either.

Schlereth is a moron, and oh,by the way Mark,Peyton is not going to be there in week 3 either and Jim Sorgi and Quinn Gray are not exactly guys you can relax with at the helm either.

He made a general statement after Pats-Eagles highlights and said, to miss the 3rd preseason game this must be a serious injury not that he knew it was. He was making an assumption. As someone else pointed out on this board in another thread, I forget where I saw it, this is not a typical preseason for the Pats. Last year was long and stressful on many levels and some of these guys had very short offseasons where injuries and their bodies in general weren't allowed enough time to heal. I think this is all pre-planned by BB and everything will be ok when the season starts.

We all know why he's saying it. Whenever they mention anything about the Patriots or the League MVP Tom Brady, they get better ratings. Be it news or speculation it gets viewers.
