OT: Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid!

Quote:

More recently, after Tannenbaum was let go, members of the organization had some very exploratory, informal discussions regarding former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell, the 2007 No. 1 overall pick who flamed out of the NFL after the 2009 season. Russell recently decided to mount a comeback in hopes of returning to the league next season.
With a few names in fold, Jets plan to keep pushing Mark Sanchez for starting QB | NJ.com

Mods, please feel free to merge in the Jets superthread if you think it warranted.

This cr&pfest would blow some of the AFCCG cobwebs away.

JaMarcus. What a stupid name. He certainly would fit in well with the Jersey circus. I wonder if he's still swiggin' that purple drank.

Its that damn Tebow. The Jets set out on a determined plan to win an award as the worst QB roster of the decade, but found out too many people like Tebow.
So he is out, and now Jemarcus Russell will be paid with Sanchez and the stakes have been raised. They are now going for the worst QB roster of 1st round busts in NFL history. Unfortunately Ryan Leaf has not yet returned their calls.

Doesn't he only get one call a week?

Impossible...the Jets couldn't have possibly explored Jamarcus Russell in so short of a time...an exploration of such a mass would require months...if not years

Re: Jets have explored JaMarcus Russell

If they sign him, the league would have to grant them an exception to the jersey numbering scheme. (#747)
