Where Is The Pats Deep Threat At????
This is one of the major reasons why the Pats can't win the big games.
Where is Randy Moss's replacement at? |
Re: Where Is The Pats Deep Threat At????
Yes. On a day with 20 MPH winds and 40 MPH gusts, throwing 40 yard bombs would have been the answer.

Re: Where Is The Pats Deep Threat At????
I've said it before but I'd like to see this team at at least two WRs of two different skill sets: a speedy deep threat and a physical possession receiver who can also get down field.
A Torrey Smith and an Anquan Boldin, pretty much. |

Re: Where Is The Pats Deep Threat At????
Welker is a deep threat. He doesn't have enough speed to get separation and he's not tall and can't jump so the window for TB12 is about 9 inches in diameter but he needs to be able to hit that window throwing downfield 40 yards into at 35 mph cross breeze.
I can't wait for the day when the opposing defenses don't cheap up to the LOS without worry at all about being burned. |

That deep threat really didn't help matters in 2007 or 2009 playoffs.
And who was our deep threat in 2001-2004? This is one of the last concerns to focus on IMO. |
