Actually, they demanded that Coughlin be fired and Eli Manning be traded or cut or something after that Green Bay rout in the Meadowlands.

Yup, they did.

But at least that was semi-rational. This is preseason.

Man... I don't know how many more of these chicken little posts I can take. Seriously, it's starting to get nauseating and repetitive.

This team is too fat and Happy..3 superbowl titles and now everyone is playing for a contract instead on their next meal..Remember the 2001 Pats defense it was balls to the wall with something to prove..Those day's are done..Get younger get hungrier and maybe the passion to be the best will return..Just my thoughts it hurts too see this team pl;ay with no passion at all.
What the hell kind of analysis is this? You can analyze what you can see, but you can't be serious with the crap about passion and playing for a contract... what, do you read players' minds? Your credentials as a football fan don't qualify you to psychoanalyze people based on watching them play a game on TV. Their hopes, dreams, & motivations are not in our field of view.

Still think this is a passionless team, Mr. Little?

It would seem that several villages have lost their idiots and they all have migrated to Patsfans.com

Again, I ask the OP if this is what he is seeing. Still think this is a passionless team? Should we "blow it up"?

Figured I would get in on BadMoFo's thread ressurection fun.

So, OP, are the veterans on our team playing well, or are they being a bunch of lazy SOB's? Should we still blow it up?

Or should we not jump to conclusions over a F#CKING preseason game?

My take : The pressure is off
With Brady gone for the season the undefeated and superbowl or bust talk is gone..I really think this team will rally behind Cassell similar to 2001 when Bledsoe went down. The pressure is off no one will think the Pats can win the superbowl without Brady and already we are underdogs to the Jets..This is just one more unfortunate situation, but the Pats seem to respond to adversity better than most...

Yeah - you are a genius - the Pats should blow the whole thing up and go 2-14 for a couple years and try to rebuild immediately....
