According to an anonymous source, and unnamed player left the cap off the toothpaste during training camp last summer. Folks this must be the straw that breaks the camel's back! Tune in to ESPN or read the Boston Herald for additional forthcoming details.

ya I just read an article by tomasse on that, apparently one of his friend's friends friends friends friends cousin saw the player take the cap off of the toothpaste and tomasse automatically knows that he did not replace the cap

I think at least one player on every NFL team leaves the cap off of the toothpaste but only the Patriots player got caught,Must be a camera set up in the bathroom of the guy.

Sources have also reported that a member of the Patriots offense watered his lawn on more than one occasion when water levels were low between 2000 - 2007. In addition, this player is reported to drive an SUV, which have been proven to have low gas mileage which in turn funnels money directly to Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Forget the toothpaste for a minute. I should not have brought that up because I have not been elected to congress yet and that is their job to monitor such events.

What we really need to know is which former Patriots staff members were involved in faking the moon landing. When that story breaks expect a 2-14 season because even the best players will not be able to concentrate.

Craig Easterbrook on espn.com has just written that this player should be banned for life from The NFL for such a serious offense! :singing:

Re: Breaking News: Patriots player leaves cap of the tooth-paste

Man, I'm sick of this, Pastegate has gotten way out of hand, I was just watching nfl network, and they had a clip of Bret Farve admitting to leaving the cap off of his sensodine, but they just brushed it off like it was ok. Then I turn on espn and they've got a poll up asking wether or not the patriots records are tainted. Not only that, congress is now calling for an independent investigation on all the patriots past dental records, one report suggest that one player may have even put his cleets on while still on novicane from getting a cavity filled...It never ends.

Re: Breaking News: Patriots player leaves cap of the tooth-paste

Again, as usual, the media spins it according to their own agenda. It was not the leaving of the cap off that was the transgression, but the "location" of where the tube was left. :D

Re: Breaking News: Patriots player leaves cap of the tooth-paste

I just read that the clubhouse manager bought an eco-friendly new toilet paper for the locker room. The only problem is that it's dark brown...

Tires are screeching and skid marks are being left everywhere :D

Re: Breaking News: Patriots player leaves cap of the tooth-paste

Peter King is working on a story that could expose that a married Patriots player has repeatedly left the toilet seat up.

He just needs one more confirmation before he runs with it.

Tomase reported (ie. he heard a rumor) that an NFL insider alluded to the fact that the Patriots may have cheeted to get whiter teeth than their opponents by using Crest Toothpaste with Whitening rather than the NFL sanctioned Crest with Tarter Control and Flouride.

Those damn Cheatriots will do anything to get ahead. I bet Harrison has been secretely using whitestrips to gain an edge. He'll probably say he only did it on days after drinking coffee to get his teeth back to their normal whiteness, but that's the kind of thing he always says.

Re: Breaking News: Patriots player leaves cap of the tooth-paste

Through hours of research I have found a link to Senator Specter. A Pennsylvania based group against the practice of leaving caps off the toothpaste (CAPSONcast) has contributed more than $5,000 to Specter's campaign

Re: Breaking News: Patriots player leaves cap of the tooth-paste

Tony Dungy speaking at a Father of the Year award ceremony today stated that "My teeth are naturally white and I only use baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. I won't even consider using toothpaste lest anyone accuse me of using the wrong kind and leaving the cap off." Anyone who uses any dental hygene products that I don't condone is a cheater and their dental records as well as their their teeth are tainted."

And I'll bet that he squeezed the tube at the middle, instead of rolling it from the end...the bastard.

...and that same player has also left empty toilet paper rolls in the dispenser while leaving the new roll on the floor or, worse, on the sink.

I heard they were trying to interview the cap, but the lawyer's for Crest demanded an indemnification agreement before their client would speak on the matter. The tooth floss was present at the brush off, but it is still undetermined whether any tape was used.

Is this John Tomase writing this? That's a blatant lie! The story has nothing to do with leaving a toilet seat up. It was a story on said player leaving towels on the bathroom floor. It is very careless posting something like this if you don't have all the facts.

Secondly, the player in question said that towels were not used during one shower, but rather later, during a shower in the future.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

This just in! A member of the Patriots practice squad that was placed on IR farted in 2005. A congressman has launched a high profile investigation and the NFL has fined Bill Belichick $700,000 for the infraction.
