Bruschi and Seau shouldn't be worried about Mayo coming in and taking snaps, which makes this article a no-brainer. Both guys are at the end of their careers and aren't fighting for playing time to get their next paycheck. Seau wants a ring and I think he would accept playing fewers snaps to get one if the guy he is lossing snaps to can keep Junior healthier down the stretch. Same goes for Bruschi who, I would expect, to be a Patriot fan long after he moves on from football. Tedy, moreso than Seau, would want Mayo to carry the torch that Bruschi and Vrbal are holding.

I don't want to answer the question for him but maybe because he's the most talented of them, and actually made plays in the biggest game last year, that's just my theory maybe he has something different though
