The media was hyping this kid up to be something great, when in reality he was just another fluke. Glad to see him exit the tournament, as he was quickly becoming P.Manning of NCAA with all the media hype surrounding, in a choke fashion. Bricks and airballs, and turnovers to cement his "Big Time Performances":bricks:

Yeah hes such a choker since he only carried Davidson this year.

Good for you, hating the kid for no apparent reason. He carried the team. No bull****, no tattoos, no trash talking. Good kid. But, sure, enjoy his loss.

!. This thread sucks.
2. Why is it here?

Steph Curry cost Davidson the game with all his airballs and turnovers, and lack of execution in the clutch. He failed to lead his team to victory when it mattered the most and was overrated all along.

Choker? He was the only reason it was close to begin with. He's no more of a choker than Tom Brady.

Brady has won championships and he didn't cost his team the game, unlike curry.

You realize that Davidson was playing a number one seed, right? And that, without Curry, this team wouldn't even be in the tournament. I'm with you that the last shot was bad, but he was triple-teamed precisely BECAUSE he was the only player good enough to take that shot. The only reason it even came down to the final possession anyways was because he kept them in the game during Kansas' run. I'm already on board for voting this stupidest thread of the month.

Curry didn't cost his team the game anymore than Brady cost the Pats the Super Bowl.

Sorry but the whiteboy (can't remember his name at the moment) was the reason Davidson was in it, especially in the second half. Curry couldn't dribble down the court without getting the ball poke from behind, and his shooting was ridiculous for a big time player.

Corry commited atleast 4 turnovers in the last few mins of the games and shot over 5 airballs/wide bricks.

You're way off base ... he had a whole team on him and for the most part it was him and Love vs that huge Kansas team ... kid's got game ... you have none JR.

was this the first time you saw him play? he has been incredible this tourney.
Davidson was a shot away from the Final Four. Davidson. all because of Curry.

Way to make fun of a kid playing for a small school. I guess you have never heard of taking the high road.

Ridiculous thread that doesn't even deserve comment.

Did you lose money on the game? Who are you cheering for?
I'll tell you who is a choker - Coach K and his team of stool coveters. Also, Texas A&M choked away an upset for UCLA (they are the Colts of the NCAA - the refs love them).
Curry is a great kid with a hot mom and I enjoyed watching he and Davidson find ways to win every round. They could/should have executed a better play with 16secs left...but the kid is not a choker. The white boy (Barr) you are talking about just planted himself in the corner with no movement to get free and bail out his teammates who were double teamed.

Did his dad's team knock your favorite team out of the NBA playoffs years back? Why all the hate? Curry choked in the same way that 60 other teams have choked these last two weeks.

Curry is a college sophomore who plays the game the right way. His team lost to a team that is one of the four best teams in the nation and has been since November. If you had Davidson this deep in the tournament last week, let alone last November, raise your hand...

That's what I thought. The kid is a gamer and if he wasn't "clutch" his team wouldn't have been in that situation to begin with. Enough said.

He only scored over 30 points every game except this one (25 I think) and carried a 10th ranked mid-major to the brink of the final four. But yeah, he's overrated:rolleyes:

What a total failure of a thread.

Couldn't agree with the original poster more. Steph was no show when it was showtime. He choked when the scene called for one of his media infautauted fluke performances. Bring him to tha NBA so he can see how its done...oh wait, he won't even make it.
