Have you even seen Laws play? Ellis has just looked good at the Senior Bowl and Combine. Laws had 112 tackles and 4 sacks this year, compared to Ellis's 58 tackles and 8.5 sacks. Laws was the only player on that Notre Dame D and he was unblockable all season long. Just because he doesn't have the hype as Ellis doesn't mean he isn't better then him. There is no guarntee he'd be there in the 2nd round. It's easier to find the Harvey and Groves or the world, it's very diffcult to find a very good DT. When you have the chance and the need, you don't pass it up.

So, in your eyes, you should pay $40,000 for a $20000 VW. Got it.

Sorry, but Laws isn't every bit as good as Ellis. As I said, you are entitled to your opinion, however flawed I may think it is.

Fact is that Laws could have easily been had in the 2nd round by the Lions, who have a ton of needs, only one of which is DT.

Robdude hasn't been online since he posted in the Draft Game check-in thread, so I imagine we'll have to vote on this pick.

I'm ready to go at 21, so I'm cool with voting on it.

I'm going to abstain, it wouldn't really be fair if I said anything, since I'm picking next.

good point

Well CB would be another option & Talib is still on the board.

Think D-line myself, although WR is a possibility.

Just looking at the mock I did, and I had them taking Devin Thomas.

WR gets my vote.

My vote would be DeSean Jackson.

It's well past the time limit so I'm gonna go ahead make him the pick.

Watson's IQ you're up! ;)

Glad I ended up abstaining. I wanted to grab a tall WR for the 'Skins and after Sweed was picked, Kelly became the clear choice. I know there are some lingering injury concerns, but I felt that they needed to get a big target for Jason Campbell. This allows them to line up Kelly opposite Moss and move Randel El back to the slot where he belongs.

Damn you! lol You took one of my top choices for Seattle away.

All of sudden we have a run on WRs.

Yeah, I had originally planned to pick Sweed, but him and Kelly are similar enough, so when the Eagles took him I didn't think twice about taking Kelly. I had thought about going safety or corner, but I felt that it was my duty to my neighbors in DC who clamor for a tall WR for their Skins to answer their prayers.

A couple of the mocks I've seen have Kelly going as high as #11 to Buffalo, so I was very glad to grab him at #21.

I'm gonna PM A.C. Vegas my top 4 choices at #25

I'm going to bed soon (up at 4 in the morning Saturday, 3 this morning). Here are the two guys I will be happy with @ pick 23 in order of preference :

Phillip Merling DE Clemson

or

Brandon Albert OG Virginia

Thanks

I guess we better start taking votes for the 'Boys, I'm gonna with

Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas

First, no CB is worth taking, and they're about to trade for Pacman, no WR is worth taking, and Jerry loves those Arkansas players, so voila.

I'd go db here just because of value:
Aqib Talib - Kansas
or
Tracy Porter - Indiana
