I think the AFC East division becomes MUCH tougher with other 3 teams FA pickups

How did we win 10 games the year before with that same horrible QB and play calling? We have a garbage schedule, and a lot more talent yet we only get one more win this year. Thats logical:rolleyes:

You might want to take a look at the garbage schedule you had in that fluke playoff birth. That wildcard game against New England proved you didn't belong. You're organization is a joke, honestly what have they done since superbowl 3?

I still think the Patriots are going to be very much expected to win the AFC East again
English please!

but with the changing of the FO in Miami
So what? Just because a team changes front offices means nothing on the playing field. Meanwhile, the Dolphins have no quarterbacks or wide receivers to speak of. The Dolphins will be lucky to win two games in 2008.

The reloaded defensive front 7 in Buffalo
I'll take the Patriots defensive line over the Buffalo Bills defensive line any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Meanwhile **** Jauron is better known as **** Moron during his coaching days with the Chicago Bears.

and a potential near all-pro Offensive Line with New York, its going to take very late in the season for NE to wrap this division up.
All-pro offensive line ......... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Mangenious ............ BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

To sum up this assessment of the Patriots AFC East opponents:

YOU ARE CLUELESS!

I am clueless - Ha Ha you are a joke

The Patriots should win the division but no more than 2 games at best

You are a blind homer so how about just STFU unless you actually can say something unbiased which would be nice for a change - Remember there are 31 other NFL teams out there,How about giving some of them a chance to actually be tough to beat if its possible to you...

As of RIGHT NOW they have Ellis Hobbs and Jason 'fu(king Webster at corner and holes and depth problem at LB so before getting so ****y thinking all the other teams are going to roll over in the East for the Pats you have another thing coming.... The team has lots to do in FA and the draft before we can crown the Patriots division champs - how about YOU getting a clue without any major moves at D at this time.

You're the complete joke. I'm soooooooooooo sorry I insulted your beloved Tuna! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The New England Patriots will win the division by at least six games. The Jets and the Bills will be lucky to even finish 8-8.

Patriots 14-2 ....... BOOK IT!

Actually, I respect the Chargers and Colts, while laugh at the pathetic (Dolphins, Jets) and the cheap (Bills).

Not in the AFC East and not for 2008! If you don't like my critique, move to New York because Mangenious could use a traitor LIKE YOU!

You are either 17 years old or have some kind of problem,I can't figure which one it is right now

I could say what did the Pats accomplish before SB 36 but hat does oru history have to do with next season. Next year we get the always tough NFC West on the schedule. I think next yr will be another easy schedule.

Pace and Jenkins have never played in the 3-4. Woody was a mediocre guard with the Patriots and the Lions. Now you are talking about putting him at RT?

Faneca is the only signing that I REALLY like for the Jets.

Pace played last yr in the 3-4 and looked good but I will wait to see if he isnt Bryan Thomas 2.0. Jenkins at worst is an upgrade over Robertson at nose and I think no one would disagree with that. Woody is a non factor b/c I dont know what im getting with him. Offensively we got Faneca and possible will add McFadden. I think 6-10 and 7-9 is our floor and 10-6 to 11-5 is our ceiling. I stand at 7-9

And the answer would be that the Pats had been to two other SBs, though they lost them both.

But anyways.

So since theres not really any players out there that would make a drastic difference to any of the 4 teams and the draft is not as strong as in the past few year,I say the division goes something like this....

New England 12-4
Buffalo 10-6
NY Jets 9-7
Miami 6-10

I admit I haven't had time to go through the whole thread, so this may have already been brought up, but find me the 4 losses you expect from this group:

HOME
Denver
Kansas City
Arizona
St. Louis
Pittsburgh
Buffalo
Miami
NY Jets

AWAY
Oakland
San Diego
San Francisco
Seattle
Indy
Buffalo
Miami
NY Jets

Maybe you're right in that the soft schedule will lead to some improvement in the division (besides, it couldn't be much worse), but I have a hard time seeing how the Patriots fall back as much as you expect, given the schedule.

Man... looking at that schedule...it's hard to see the Pats going worse that 12-4 at the very least. 12-4 with loses to SD and Indy knocks you out of a first round bye. But if they can get either of the games against these two teams; the Pats are right back in business!

The Cardinals running a 3-4 is news to me. I know that Pace moved to OLB, but I was under the impression it was in the 4-3.

Jenkins is only an UPGRADE if he can handle the 2GAP NT position. If he can't, then its not much of an upgrade unless the Jets switch to a 4-3.

Faneca is a definite upgrade over the Jets guards from last year. But, hell, almost anyone is an upgrade over what the Jets had last year, though Woody may be the exception.

As for adding McFadden, I would love it if the Jets did that. It means they are ignoring other aspects of their game that are more important.

Who would you suggest we take at 6? No CB is worthy of going that high, there wont be a RT worthy plus we just signed Woody. A perfect world we could get a Richard Seymour type player but there are none in this draft, well not in the top ten at least.

I still would like to know why the Jets think that Woody would make a good RT.

As for who the Jets should take, I couldn't give 2 sh!ts, honestly. Personally, they should have had to forfeit their 1st round pick for lying to the league about having had permission to tape the Patriots game from the sidelines last year.

As for a OT worthy of going at #6, Clady is definitely worthy and he'd be better than Woody and could be better than Ferguson.

Nah...apparently they played enough 3-4 for Pace to show some promise..."promise"!!

Bingo! How many big fattyies have succeeded when asked to 2-gap? The answer is almost none of them. Especially when he is not going to a better sutuation where he can benefit from being surounded by superior players. It's more like a side-wise move talent-wise. Add in the inury/weight issue..big ? !!

Faneca may be a "force-multplier" in military terms. This is the potentially the biggest impact acquisition of the Jets off season including the draft.

Now you are being short-sighted B. To add an impact RB to take the pressure of both the Jet's ****ty QB's and their sub-par D is the smart move.

Bingo! How may bif fattys have STB when asked to 2-gap? The answer is most of them.

I'm not being short-sighted at all regarding McFadden. I am not sold on the hype surrounding the guy. Personally, I see him going the way of Reggie Bush and Julius Jones. Guys who do nothing without having a better compliment to them. And I don't believe that Thomas Jones is good enough to make McFadden better.

Denver has ALWAYS given us fits no matter who is on that team
We WILL have 1 loss at home to an East team
San Diego is due for a win at home against NE
Either Seattle,Indy or Buffalo will win at home against NE

12-4 is accurate if you ask me....

you cant kill them for taking McFadden and say you dont know who they should take and dont give two s##ts. Your better then that

Denver has NEVER played the Moss version of the patriots.

there is no chance that the bills beat NE, NO CHANCE. Indy, maybe, but I doubt it, the colts fell off, its done for them, but they have better chance then buffalo. San diego? come on, even if rivers does play, he's a kid and a kid isnt beating the patriots.

16-0, and I can only HOPE the giants make it back to the superbowl.

1) Yes, I can kill them if they take McFadden.
2) I can say that I don't care who they take because I don't. This is not dependant on #1
3) I can say that I don't know who they should take because I don't know who would want to play for such a crappy franchise :D

Isn't Rivers the same age as that kid from the Giants Eli Manning?:D
