Would you remain a Pats fan if the Pats lost Brady?

If Tommy B doesn't extend his contract, and ends up leaving the Pats, do you remain a Pats fan, or do you follow Tommy B?

I'm a fan of the New England Patriots, not a "Tom Brady fan."

Hard as it is to believe, there was a time when I was mad they weren't playing Bledsoe because of that stupid Brady kid. Obviously, I was wrong. But I stayed with the team. (And was rewarded for it bigtime.)

You ultimately, as a fan, have to decide if you're a fan of a team or a fan of a player. Either is valid, but once you know which you are it makes the decision easy.

I'm a Pats fan to the core. I get mad at them, sure. And I flip out when they don't keep players I like (example: what'll probably happen with Moss.)

But I stick by my team.

If Kraft, BB, and Pioli screwed up THAT much, I might. I'm still not even convinced Moss is gone, but IF they let Moss walk and Brady says enough and walks when his contract is done, then I'd be torn. I don't think I'd hate the Patriots, I certainly would hate BB and Kraft.

Yeah me too, although I'd have to also root for the team Brady moved to. He's my man...

Still be a dieharder, but would definitely be pulling for Brady on the side. You can do both, you know.

Of course, like bradmahn said I'm a Patriots fan.

Well, I am a football fan, and it's natural to have a fave team, so I would continue to be a Patsfan. Hey, if you make it through 1 - 15 and 2 - 14 seasons with Marc Wilson and Hugh Millen at QB, 'nuf sed.

I have been a Pats Fan since Brady was struggling with long division. He will either leave or retire one day, and that'll never change.
If anything, I get upset with HIM when he pouts (or at least acts like it) but not with the franchise.
With or without #12...the Pats are my team.

I was a Pats fan before Brady ans will remain one after Brady leaves through retirement.

I would be a fan of both.....until Brady plays the pats than the Pats win out.

I still love willie mac and hope the best for guys like Givens and Patten.

Nor do I. But when you've had the kind of success we've had, there's bound to be a large contingent of bandwagoners. Hopefully, most of them jumped off when the spygate waters got too hot for them.

who is this Tom Brady of whom you speak?

TB is signed through 2010. Who knows what happens in 3 years. It's interesting but a few years back I was watching a TB interview. He noted that on draft day a good friend told him he was going to the team (NE) that was rated by many experts as the team least likely to succeed in the 200x's.

What the hell kind of question is this? I mean I'll still root for Brady (as long as his success doesn't interfere with the Pats) but no I'm a New England Patriots fan not a Tom Brady fan.

well....SOMETIMES I'm a New England Patriot fan...but then...other times I'm a HUGE HUGE fan of the players in my fantasy folder...and I want ALL THE PLAYERS SIGNED that are in there and I want it done now!!!!! Because my fantasy team is the most important thing in life!!!!!! I get ALL THE PLAYERS I want...I want Moss!!! I want Samuel!!! I'm a Brady fan, I like the Pats because of him, so if he changes team, I will change as well .I will start to root for the team he's on.
