1. I do not think anyone said it would 'bring down' the Herald
2. Simply by looking at the thread numbers you can see that this web site represents many more people then 25
3. Asking for accountability from our local reporters should not make anyone hate us
4. I am not hated the world over but you might be

Actually the reason why we are hated all over the world probably has more to do with 4 Superbowl appearances and 3 titles in 7 years.

And I doubt people in Bostwana hate us, I think your are slightly paranoid or have a over inflated ego.

I'm not so vain as to think it has to do with me and rampart love for my team.

I don't care that they write a negative story. Write all you want. However, breathing life into Spygate 24 hours before the SB? and this coming from a "Boston" paper? Please, are you that obtuse not to recognize the stupidity and possible backlash from fans.

Its a small sign of protest, glad the Globe is still around, its a shame that Reiss is not with the Herald, he would bring some class to the job.. Paul Perillo from Pats football weekly was actually interviewed for the job that Tomasse has..

First of all, we don't care what other team's fans think of us. When you have an 8 year dynasty (no, you don't have to win the SB each of those years), it's natural for other fans to hate you.

So ask yourself;

"Do I really care what fans outside New England think of the Patriots?"

If your answer if yes, you need to do some serious self-evaluation. I can give you a very easy road map for non-Patriots fans to start liking us again.

Fire our coach and start losing....

Real Patriots fans don't want that to happen.

So in closing, I want to say.....YAAAAHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!

Thank you, Ian. If anyone so chooses they can certainly seek out the Herald in a number of other ways, but I for one am done supporting a rag that publishes an unbstantiated hit piece the day before the biggest game in Pats history (slightly different than just "not liking" what the paper says about the Pats).

Thank you PATSFANS and good work!... I LOVE this site for taking it off...it doesn't matter what effects it has or does not have but knowing it doesn't support that type of irresponsible slander says a lot (at least on a fan level).

Any Pats fan with an ounce of self-respect should never purchase a Herald or patronize its advertisers unless and until Tomase is fired and the rag issues a full page apology to the fans, the franchise and the region. No "protest", so sorry to everyone that thought we had done it intentionally. They do not have an rss feed for their main Patriots section, so that's the main reason why it isn't there anymore. - Ian
