Nice so the roster is finally full of GMs. So when do we want to get this thing started?

Lets make a firm desiton on trades first. this is my stance is we have a commisiner then i am for trades but not with players because those rarely happen draft day any way. even if we do 4 rounds we can still use the 5,6,7th round picks just cause we are not doing them doesn't mean they are gone. lets get a grasp on that then plan a time

Last year it worked well without trades.

if you all want to start it soon we might be aboe to do 2 before the draft i say give everyone a week to check in and then like 2 hours for there pick nad if they are not ther sned the pick to who ever is goig to be the "copmmisaner"

I'm for trades but only with current draft picks of any round.

I'd actually rather do 7 rounds, as long as we're doing it, but I don't feel that strongly about it. On the other hand, I'm fully in the no-trades camp, but we should probably set up a poll and ask everyone who's playing.

I'm firmly in the no-trades camp, too - they're impossible to mock correctly.

Wow! This game has started already. I'm still getting over my Super Bowl hangover. I played last year and it was big fun. If anyone drops out let me know. Go Falcons (I was their GM)!

I also think that it would run much more smoothly for everyone involved if we went with no trades.

I agree here's my vote I'm not interested in trades.

Once we start the mock draft I think the draft order should stay the same regardless of any real trades made after the fact.

I will vote for no trades also.

I say lets have two commish just in case and let the two fine people who have said they would do it...do it.

We can use pm and lists to the commish just in case and stick to our time line of last year.

Really excited about this, it is always fun.

i'd say thts enough for no trades. I'll say this make your pick but if you think in the real draft it'll be trade say it so it's no record when do you all want to start it

BTW, I'm all for trades, maybe we should do picks only, with three votes to approve or disapprove from other GM's.

Should we do a new thread with a roll call to make sure everyone who said they're doing it is still on board? Might not be a bad idea, since others have expressed interest, and this thread has been going for a while. I'll leave that to someone else though.

I am against allowing trades.
