I don't mind talking with some other fans. There are some good ones. It's nice to get an outside perspective some times. The gloaters and idiots? They can go away.

Thank you Ian and all the other mods. I have been avoiding all my normal haunts because I just can't take it right now. No ESPN, No WEEI...nothing.

While I may not post much I do read this MB every day. I am truely shocked how much this loss has affected me. I'm so glad you guys decided to keep out the trolls this week. This site is helping me move on and put the loss behind me.

I'm quite positive this will be deleted but it's not exactly like you have a TOS posted to remind people that making grown men tear up because they don't agree with you is cause for deletion. If you can't take some crap that means nothing in real life is ban worthy I wonder how some people deal with real life.

Let people have some fun. It's the internet and if you think it's serious business report the posts to the FBI, not some Mod that joins a ***********. You didn't lose, I didn't lose. My 54 jersey has a name on it that doesn't jive with my paycheck.

I don't know what's sadder. The fact that the "RAH RAH" attitude is evidently limited to us fans or the fact that some have decided for the minority that don't have a grip on life that they can't suffer defeat. Must be the same people that grew up playing soccer where you can't be cut from the team because it hurt their self esteem.

I've been watching your board for some time and have always thought that your fan base has always showed a LOT of "class" in your wins.

I know how much it truly sucks to lose it in the SUPER BOWL. And, for PATS fans.....this year, it's even worse. You were looking at a PERFECT SEASON.
That's gotta be just unbearable to swallow.

Believe it or not, there were MANY that were right there with you, hoping to finally "see" that PERFECT SEASON.

All's I'm saying is that there ain't no shame in the loss of this game. You guys were KILLER all season long.

that's true, but only because we are spoiled by winning three sb's in four years. we also have six Conference Championships. Only one franchise (Cowboys) in the entire NFL has more (eight). i know that nothing hurts more than losing a Super Bowl (especially this week), but those six were hard-won and should be celebrated somewhere.
