Success breeds contempt, and being the top of the heap of crap leaves all the turds being stepped on crying in agony. The media caters to the masses, and the majority of the population has been backing losing causes in the NFL.

News flash to the not so intelligent - Specter is an fool supported by Comcast lobbyists (to explain it in small words, he has a problem with the NFL generally for money reasons), and Congress probably will receive misappropriation of resource claims if any committee chooses to investigate handling of league issues. There are other issues requiring attention like a war and the national economy, to state a couple. What would be next, calling officials before Congress who make bad calls in games?

The Pats will win tomorrow, the losers will cry after another victory (and those cries thankfully get louder with every win - maybe in the offseason the teams will pass a rule requiring that the Pats use only 10 players to level the field), and all this wailing will amount to nothing.

So I guess the message is dump whatever team your losing cause is and get onboard for the big win. It's not your fault you were born in an area that was not New England, and the band wgaon is large enough for new additions.

It bothered me a bit this morning, but then Tip got in the HOF and I forgot about it.. This Spygate thing is going to hang around for a while after the Super Bowl... But its nonsense... I hope Tommose is proud of himself...

its taken a lot of the fun out of it for me ill say that .I'm not watching any ESPN that's for sure.i enjoyed the 03 04 01 years a lot more . that's quite a statement considering the pats have one every single game .it wouldn't bother me so much if the pats actually did something seriously wrong .what the pats did is the same as a base runner who steals the catchers signs while hes on second base .

The media has become just one big conglomeration of The National Enquirer. It's a shame that you can't trust anything you read anymore.

It does not bother me in the slightest. It's just annoying seeing these stupid ***** smacks at this time, it looks so obvious to me. I can't stand seeing all the fans somehow lose faith in the organization because of it either. Besides, the Pats didn't come this far to make us enjoy "media" week. They're in Arizona to finish some business, lets be happy and see the big picture.

Fortunately I have had other things to keep me busy. But I read
articles and as soon as I detect some crap i exit the web page.

The only thing I really want to see is the PATS kick @SS tomorrow.
Every hit will be like belting one of these media heads in the mouth.
Going to be very enjoyable.

It doesn't really bother me much.

I am much quicker to just exit out of threads and articles where people who can't think clearly are spouting garbage.

I also realize that I'm just ahead of the curve i.e. I realize how much of this stuff is garbage long before the "average" media person apparently does. Not that this says much. Evidently, it's also long before the average non-Pats fan does as well.

So, for me it's live and let live. Many others can live in their delusions of conspiracy theories, I'll live in the reality of 18-0 and the joyful expectation of 19-0.

He looks like that engineer geek my boss fired two weeks ago. He tried to tell me how to do my job when he had no experience and I sent him away with the tail between his legs. He tried to turn me in for harassment and I said that I did not have time to train incompetence.

It sounds like Tomass is trying to make a name for himself by writing a story that cannot be authenticated. Like some tourist happened to film the Rams walk through practice session and he told somebody who told somebody else who told somebody else who told Tomase that the Patriots spied on the Rams before SB XXXVI. This is definitely a hoax.

Yeah, you're right, this effing blows. Spector is a complete moron! Tomase is the laughing stock. Steve Young and others are piling on. It's sad that I'm spending the last two days before the game, changing the channel, instead of watching. What a shame. I hope the Patriots blow them out more than ever!

Just use the "us against the world" train of thought to pump yourself up. The media and most people outside of New England want to see our team fail miserably just so they can feel better about their own pathetic lives. They couldn't care less about you, me, our team, justice, morallity or anything other than themselves. How else can we explain that every time any info comes out about any other team caught taping or spying it is quickly disregarded or forgotten by all of the talking head idiots out there, while the smallest most unlikely "rumor" from god-knows-who (I mean Tomases' "source") surfaces and it's national "news". Before you start to feel bummed or let any so-called allegations get to you, take a long hard look at the accusers. You won't find too many winners in that bunch. Ignore them. Enjoy your team tomorrow, hopefully the greatest undefeated team ever. And know that they are the good guys. They are the best. And don't let some jealous idiots take that enjoyment away from you.
