Well,
The Rams were dumb not to noticed they were being filmed, IF it is true.
Survival of the fittest I say.

this will never appear on espn.

do i detect sarcasm, or are you being quite serious?

the timing of this is utterly priceless... coming out of Boston, no less...

ladies and gentlemen, run... run, don't walk, run... to your online sportsbook and get on the -12.5 immediately, while you still can... this number will now rise, maybe even past the all-important 14 hurdle...

it's official... you guys are gonna clucking kill New York on Sunday...

oh man... stop the fight!

i was referring to the telescope in the window. obviously, the rams were spying on our practice. that's what will never be mentioned by the nyers at espn.

Hey Tomase... You need to go on a diet bro... I think you need to stop being so jealous of the actual athletes that play for the Patriots... I'm sorry that in your life you've always been the fat, unattractive, small-****ed loser you are... Don't take it out on people that actually take care of their bodies, fat boy. You are pathetic and don't deserve to live. It sucks that there are starving children in third world countries yet walruses like you are allowed to sit there at your computer with a plate of chicken wings and write this drivel. You are a pathetic human being... Seriously dude. Work out or something. Christ. Go for a 5 minute walk once in a while. Have you even seen your wang in the last 20 years? Loser.

Where does it say that coach ordered this taping?

Bingo! Any other time I would be sick of hearing about it already. I'm excited every time something new pops up so all the haters and talking-heads will start bringing up the asterisk again. It makes the pre-game speech that much juicier for BB>:singing: .

not that i appreciate the timing of the story at all the day before the title game, ... but as a guy who takes pretty decent care of himself, I am still left to ask:

What does his weight have to do with his journalistic requirement to write the story? Further, where did the man inject an opinion in the piece at all so as to deserve such a thorough character assassination? Do you have any understanding of how things work in a newsroom?

ah, i see... the NYers at espn...

you know, at every other NFL fan forum i've witnessed (and there's a diverse lot), the perception out there of the media's treatment of the Pats is 180 degrees from what i witness here from Patriots fans on a minute-to-minute basis... they loathe the networks' perceived collective manlove for Kraft's boys... it's really rather hysterical, from both cynnical angles...

but i guess the truth lies somewhere in the middle then... right were it should be...

the martyrdom exuded so often here, despite the blessing of enjoying the best football team in history, remains utterly astounding...

all due respect, of course...

After watching NFLN and all the talking heads and the uper bowl hoopla the last week, my opinion of the sports media is not at its highest level. Didn't you even smile at that response? Loosen up, we have a big game coming up and a little humor helps the butterflies fly in formation. Peace, it is what it is....

why, yes i did... in fact i mentioned that it was quite hysterical...

This is just stupid. Are you telling me the Rams would do their walk-through - with all that important plays - without making sure the building was clear. What are they stupid?

I have heard some dumb things but this is ridiculous. Hell, this is tampering.

The questions that need to asked are ..

HOW DOES THE SOURCE KNOW THAT THE PERSON WHO TAPED THE WALK THROUGH SESSION WORKED FOR THE PATRIOTS?
Did the source see the person taping was wearing a Pat's jersey?
Did the source see the person taping again later on the Pat's sideline during the super bowl or at any other Pat's events?

I have a few more questions, but they can wait until the above questions have been answered.

All we have for now is that someone saw someone taping a walk through session and that some one was a part of the media contingent.

The article makes a lot of assumptions/accusations with out showing even some amount of proof.

I think they are confusing "overexposure" with a genuine feeling of regard. The Patriots have been reported on out the wazoo from Mike & Mike right up 'til NFL Live at 12 at night; some of it good, some of it bad, some of it indifferent (much harder to find through their biases, pro and anti). Many here at Patsfans pick up on the negatives (there is absolutely no denying Merril Hoge's, or Mike Ditka's, or Tom Jackson's, or Mike Greenberg's, or, occasionally, Mark Schlereth's, or, occasionally, Mike Golic's, or a good deal of folks on Cold Take) and tend to ignore the favorable coverage. I don't think ESPN is pro-Patriots, I think they are pro-story, and the Pats have provided a very compelling story to many at ESPN this year (where conception of the story can sometimes be from the hand of the reporter and not the actual event).

This is no different than the Colts from 2005 (or last year) when they started hot and went to 13-0 (and 9-0, respectively), they were on Sportscenter and every other program fifty-seven times a day. Were those same fans railing against any perceived biases toward the Colts then? I, as a Patriots fan first, was sick to my stomach watching that coverage. I stopped watching ESPN then, not because I was upset over a bias, but because I was jealous of the team I hate (I just threw up a little). Seems to me it would do those complaining of the pro-Patriots bias well if they admitted as much.

Edit: Dare I forget TMQ and his Good vs. Evil spin, his tinfoil hat, and his "sybarite" character assassination.

This is just stupid, We are about to play the biggest game of the centruy, and this garbage has to resurface...

"It’s also not known if he made the recording on his own initiative or if he was instructed to make the recording by someone with the Patriots or anyone else."

What the hell is Tomase doing?

It was colonel mustard in the kitchen with the knife

Tommasse is doing a few things

1 Is he will be hated by every member of the Patriots orginization , and get treated worse than he already has been treated by Belichick

2 Gets a fast track to his dream job, covering the Red Sox....

In this day and age, with the tabloid media, success brings this:

GSP with a microscope to your door? ;)

Yup, this has been out there since the story broke in September. Lots of Rams allegations about filming practice/walkthrough. The level of security at that Superbowl was always an issue for this particular story, so I guess now it's morphed into a guy left behind to film...

This is nothing but a last ditch effort to discredit a team about to accomplish something no other team ever has or likely will. Courtesy of your tax dollars and a couple of hack investigative journalist wannabes. Including that overweight frustrated baseball lover at the Herald who wouldn't have a job by now if teams he loves to rip weren't winning championships hand over fist.

No tape hit Marshall Faulk every time he moved. No tape picked Warner as Mike Vrabel closed in on his face. No tape hit David Patton in the corner of the EZ as a half wound down or led a drive for the ages pinned on the 17 with no time outs left. And no tape kicked a 48 yard FG as time expired.

Mike Perriera said the other day that BB is one coach he seldom talks to because Bill doesn't whine and complain. He doesn't look for excuses when his team loses. Too bad more of these A-holes in the NFL weren't held accountable for there own friggin' incompetent failures.

If Arlen Spector wants to know how his beloved Iggles lost their Superbowl, he should try watching the replays since they are on ad nauseum (so to speak) lately. His superstar QB choked, literally as well as figuratively. And if Marshall FAulk still has issues about why the Rams game plan failed, he should track down his nowadays underemployed former HC.
