50 "g's" is pretty cheap for a super bowl ring. a little while back i remember someone auctioning one off and it went for 150 or something like that. it wasnt anyone important either. cant remember the details of it though

Apparently they couldn't afford top notch rings because Peyton's salary drained so much organization money.

You guys are nuts if you think all the players + coaches rings will be close to $50k each. This has never been a close figure whatsoever. It's up to the organization how crazy they want to go, but first off they get an incredible discount since they're buying in such a large quantity. The rings surface on ebay and sell for 5-10x their actual value easily just because of the authenticity and keepsake.

I thought I heard the last ring cost the team 25k each, so double for a perfect season? why not?
