Yesterday was one of the most amazing days of my life. To make a long story short, I attended a luncheon with Bob Kraft at Gillette Stadium and then was given a behind the scenes tour of the stadium by Jonathan Kraft. I saw Rodney Harrison working out. I touched all of the Superbowl trophies and had my picture taken with them. I was in the locker room and put on Tom Brady's hat. I was on the field.

The Krafts and their entire organization are top notch. They exude CLASS, INTELLIGENCE, and PASSION. I didn't think it was possible, but I'm an even bigger Pats fan now.

But did they show you their draft board ? :D

re

How did you get that opportunity?

Were they wining and dining you for business-related purposes?

I should give you Congrats on your very nice day.

But being a jealous bastard, I can't do that. YOU SAW RODNEY! :enranged:

YOU TOUCHED THE TROPHIES!:enranged:

What, they didn't let you look at the draft board!

BTW, how did Rodney look working out? Did he look OK on the leg?

Is that an Hasidic Pats hat? Cool. Makes me wonder if you also can get a yamuka with the Flying Elvis logo.

Then you woke up, found it was 3 a.m and Adam had still been signed by the Colts. :D

Seriously, congrats. How did you get that?

Yeah, well, thanks for ruining MY day!

Now I'm just some left-out Pats fan, ya know!

But hey, you've just proven my actual dreams CAN come true...I just need to change religions! :D

Congratulations you lucky S.O.B.!! I'm jealous as all hell!!

(Why is it every time I see your member name I want to say Gesundheit or God bless you??)
:) :)

It's a long story about how I got to attend, but it has to do with some philanthropic groups that I'm associated with.

Jonathan actually shouted to Rodney that we all wanted to know how he was doing. He smiled, nodded, and simply said "good!". He looked great, no signs of a limp or anything. He's a powerful looking dude.

I didn't see the draft board but I forgot to mention that BB came in and I was about 7 feet away from him. He looked thin, tan, and serious. He sounded exactly like he does on the radio. He doesn't use alot of words, but he says alot. He mentioned that it was the first time in 2 years that he's seen the Super Bowl trophies! Absolutely NO resting on their laurels there.

Josh Miller also came in. He's hilarious. Kraft said Brady was out or he would have come in, too.

The whole thing was so surreal... I still can't believe it happened. Thank god I took some pictures or I wouldn't believe it myself!

Maybe he didn't have to go... :)

And when you post some of the pictures then we'll believe it too! :p But seriously ladies and germs, congratulations! You must have made one hefty contribution to your charity to warrant that red carpet treatment!

Congrats. I'm insanely jealous and am contemplating the necessary, erm, changes to my anatomy to get in with the Krafts. :D
Have a good Passover, btw.

Thanks, I'll try.

(I only have 195 posts? Feels like so much more. I guess from spending so much time reading here.)

Congrats on that!! I think we all woul d just love to do that!!! I can just imagine how odd and surreal it was..from start to finish,,really great impressions!! How long did it last?? What did BB say..anything at all or???
GREAT!! I think we all would have loved that!!

Mazeltov, PJ!

I'm not jealous, though I'd love to bend Jonathan's ear about the NFL's presentation of itself outside the U.S. -- your post has lifted my mood at the end of a pretty C- day. So thanks, and have a good Yom-tov.
