.
But Nick did say this he's guilty, but what you havn't heard is that Nick said this to a couple of teammates in the Visitors lockerroom because he was pissed, and this conversation was Overheard by a Boston Reporter that was not authorized to be in the area at that time. Nick was not aware of the reporters presence.

The head Butt is a media lie, Nick never said that. You can believe what you wan't but everything you hear in the media is stretched, skewed or falsified and all for the love of $$$.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.. the reporter(Tomase) I believe overheard the conversation, and asked for clarification.. at which time Hardwick made the allegations and the reporter taped it... everything is not some great conspiracy..btw go to the tape, getting in someone's face is not a headbutt.

He's not going to put his coaches name out there in the media. Common sense people.

you haven't got the common sense of an ordinary housefly, trollvara

Exactly - I don't find it hard to believe that Hardwick is too stupid to know the difference between a head butt and getting in someone's face

From the video it was obvious that there was no headbutt. What probably happened is that McNeil told his teamates about Seymour getting in the face of the coach and in that telling exaggerated it to the point where he is saying that he nearly head butted the coach. Hardwich then further exagerates it to Seymour headbutting a coach. Too bad the video evidence shows nothing of the sort.

Hardiwick is such a jag-bag.

what's next Nick you frickin pansy?

Are you going to get your Dad and have him go try and beat up Richard Seymour's dad?

SCUMBAG.

EDIT: the jerkoff doesn't deserve to have his name spelled right. Because he's a jerkoff.

I gotta ask...Why is a Coach from the annointing oil rubbin' classy coachkillers in Seymour's face in the first place?

Seems to me the Chargers always have trouble dealing with the media spotlight fading after their elimination from the playoffs. Friggin" Drama Queens!

Because he needed to come to the rescue of Hardwick, who in a verbal spat just could never hold his own against Seymour.

Just saw the vid myself. I sure didn't see any headbutt. But that coach/coordinator was backing up quick when Seymour got in his face. I know I would if it were me! Yikes.

Is anyone else out there loving Big Sey gettin' all nasty? I am! Go for it
Richard. You need to get even uglier. Butkus ugly would be great! :D

The problem with all this is that if Seymour did, indeed, head-butt Norv Turner, Norv wouldn't have noticed.

Hardwick just went on national TV and had the video with him.....If you notice as Hardwick says "He headbutted him in the chest". I don't know make up your own mind.

is it still a headbutt then?

1.) for an act to be considered a headbutt, does the attack only have to come from the attacker's head?

2.) Or is it a headbutt if the attack is from the attacker's head and it strikes the defender's head?

i guess i dont' know how many heads need to be involved for something to be an actual headbutt. the more i think about it, i think 2 heads need to be involved.

Hardiwick is still a douchebag of biblical proportions.

Why is a coach even jawing with a player? Isn't there something at least unwritten about that? How immature.

His face mask may have made a little bumping contact with the nose, but gimme a frickin' break. He was obviously just jawwing at him, not trying to smash his face in with a headbutt.

The Giants are coming off like giant babies right now.

wow look who it is.

where in the hell have you been buddy?:singing:

There were other claims stating that Shawn made other comments about smacking Brady as well as other Chargers making statements that they were a superior team. These are flat out lies, the only ones that made these claims were some pundits on ESPN and NFL Network, yet i'm reading articles in the Boston Herald making these Claims. How many here bought into that media BS?

Are you really this stupid? Seriously? Are you? Merriman DID make the comments about smacking Brady. I HEARD THEM. He made them at the "PEP RALLY" the Chargers had prior to the game. There's a youtube video floating around of Merriman and Phillips both making comments.

They aren't LIES. They are TRUTH. Your whole spiel about ESPN and NFL Network is the BS.

Your Team responded by dancing on our logo after the game was over.

The Team responded by dancing on the field when the game was over. The fact that the game ended with the team around the 50 is why it looked like the Pats were "dancing on the logo". The fact is that they were just celebrating and where they happened to be on the field had NOTHING to do with ANYTHING.

When will those Chargers learn to keep there yaps shut? We lose and Nick Hardwork calls out Seymour, who basically doesn't deny the allegations and says he plays violent. and that Nick was "Classless" to state this to the media. How many bought into this media BS?

Nick was "CLASSLESS" because he admitted to playing dirty after the 1st Tennessee game. Yet, he's complaining that Seymour was supposedly playing dirty. OH, and Seymour ignored the allegations. That is different than denying them.

More BS on your part. Nick admitted to being a dirty player after playing Tennessee the 1st time. It had NOTHING to do with a Boston reporter. Why do you insist on making sh!t up that is so easily verifiable?

The head Butt is a media lie, Nick never said that. You can believe what you wan't but everything you hear in the media is stretched, skewed or falsified and all for the love of $$$.

I guess you didn't hear the interview. Nick said it was a headbutt. For you to say its a lie shows how much of a homer you are.

Do us all a favor and go back to whatever hole you crawled out of because you are most certainly a fan of the Chargers and it really doesn't look like you are anything remotely close to being a fan of the game with your blind homerish comments.

He's not going to put his coaches name out there in the media. Common sense people.

*ROFLMAO* Too bad you or Nick don't know what common sense is.

First off, Nick make a FALSE accusation. One that was easily verifiable had he just said the coach's name. Not saying the name makes him look that much more like a liar.

Secondly, if Seymour HAD hit the coach, he'd have been tossed from the game. That's fact.

You want to talk common sense, yet you don't bother showing any at any time.

Is this going to be an annual tradition with the Chargers from now on? They have trouble dealing with the sun setting on their season.
