What Happened to Lawimpian Tomlinson's HEART!!

WOW, nice logic. I'm speechless

I could have called you an idiot for spouting such nonsense. I was trying to be nice about it. For crying out loud, the QB was out there with a trashed knee and the Tight End was running on a dislocated toe. Either LdT's injury is worse than they were claiming, or LdT ****ed out.

thanks alot for being nice. What I'm trying to tell you is that the coaching staff took him out because they thought they had a better chance with Turner. Look at his history, he has never as you put it ****ed out in any games, why start now.

Tomlinson even disappointed me. Is he really that hurt? This was the biggest game of his career, and he sat on that bench wrapped up in a parka wearing his hide me mask. With the season on the line, and a championship within their graps, he chooses to sit it out.

Or, am I being too hard on the guy?

we have called him the Tin Man for weeks... he has no heart for the game.

McNabb doesn't make it a habit of gakking all over the field either, but he did it in the Super Bowl. I played sports all the way through college and I can tell you that teams don't like the idea of sitting their best players during the biggest game of the year even if they are only at 50%, nevermind the 90% LdT claimed to be at. Heck, a hyperextension of the knee isn't even that big of a deal, unless there's more to the story.

90%, remember?

I can see him not playing because the leg doesn't work, but he didn't have much to do with cheerleading the team once he was out....take off the helmet; put on a stocking hat and be the leader of a team trying to win the AFC Championship. Go to the sidelines...use crutches...anything to show some leadership.

I understand the media doesn't show it all, but the perception the TV audience got was that LT just withdrew into himself and let the game go on without him participating anywhere.

Sanvara can you defend Tomlinson for sitting on the bench with his helmet on all game talking to hardly anyone? There is no excuse for this supposed leader to not be trying to fire up his team if he isn't going to be playing. Did he even take that helmet off once he got off the field? I can understand him not going back in if he was hurt but he looked like a sulking child, not the leader of the team.

Hold on guys.. As a long time Pats fan, I'm overjoyed by our victory...

However, let's not beat up the SD players .. Their defense was awesome and really pressured TB.. It was a good, close game that all of us enjoyed and we thought Rivers played the game of his life with really good completions under pressure, despite his limited mobility... In the end our red zone defense, key plays by Washington (what a defense on the punt), Junior Seau on 3rd down cutting off Turner and the great Tedy, made our win possible...

I would think that LT would have played if he could... He does run off his mouth quite a bit (especially last year) ... However, I still admire the way he plays and while I don't like him personally or even his loud mouthed comments, I do respect his ability as a player.. He would have definitely played if he could and possibly, he wanted to but Coughlin wouldn't let him.. Who really knows ?

Anyway guys, enjoy the moment... We are 2 weeks away from a rematch with the GMen.. I think we'll see a different Brady then and the GMen better watch out...

I believe he wasn't 90% and our best chance was with Turner, you can disagree with me and say he ****ed out. Both are opinions and not facts, the only ones that know it for sure are LT and the coach. BTW, I played college ball as a running back and know how bad a knee injury is for that position, a QB can play with a knee injury, but a RB depends on his knees for making all the cuts.

And to think no one knew he was naked from the knees up? FYI, did you know that his "I can't see you" mask, actually is an LCD Screen that plays Driving Miss Daisy over and over. Hey L.T., you just lost the AFC Championship, what are you gonna do?..............(L.T.'s Answer): Well by gosh thats easy, I am going to the bank! Nice team play from the NFL's leading rusher! CHARGERS...........NOT! GO PATS!

It was reported as a hyperextension, not torn cartilage or anything like that. You keep acting as if it was a significant injury. And the 90% is what a reporter noted LdT claimed to be.

I was not beating up SD players. Though I wasn't talking to you your response had nothing to do with my post, so why did you quote me?

I'm not acting like anything, I believe Turner gave us the best chance, that is my opinion. Is it possible he reported 90% because that's what they wanted Pats to think?
All I'm saying LT hasn't given me any reason to think he ****ed out as you put it.

You see this was all planned by Mr Classy Freddy Blassy.....say the whole week to the media you're good to go and will be playing through the pain. But then b/c of cold weather, and fear of career ending knee injury, wimp ut after two plays, say it was coach's decision, sit on the toasty bench with the parka and helmet on.

I have a million times more respect for Rivers and Gates after today than LeWussy Turdlinson

What a leader !

LT is worthless and I would never want him on the pats.

If you are so hurt you can't play in the biggest game of your life to date then don't just sit on the best like the baby you've been for years.

Get UP!!! work with the other backs, encourage your offense or defence on the field, hold a friggin clip board, give the guys water....do something to help your team mates who are giving it all they got unlike you.

I think LT goes by the saying if you aint crying you aint trying..snicker snicker

LT is classless. It wasn't that he was just too much of a sissy to play when Rivers was playing with a sprained MCL and something like a torn ACL(or partially). And the worst part is that he just sat there, uninterested. Didn't offer any encouragement to his team. What a pathetic lowlife.
It sure flabbergasted me, too, as much of a jerk I thought Littledainian always was. It will be interesting to see how this affects his leadership of the team.

I think Rivers just took over the reins of the team from Littledainian. I think Rivers manned up today, and Littledainian girled down.

Mr. Tomlinson is what I thought he was ever since the infamous...."Boo hoo you dont steal a mans dance!

memo to Tomlinson real men dont have "dances"...fairies do

You are a sorry excuse for a CHarger fan. Your love for Turdlinson is sick, an insult to Rivers and Gates who gave their all this game. Littledainian sat on the bench, never interacted with the players, never offered help or encouragement.

I was surprised when he refused to go back into the game last week because he thought he might have hurt his knee. When the MRI was negative, I thought he was a guy I wouldn't want on my team, ever. This week proved him totally worthless. Even if he was hurt, which I doubt, he could have done something besides sit on the bench with his helmet on all game.

As you said earlier, it was probably good for the Pats that their star RB was a wuss and didn't play, but it wouldn't have mattered in the end. We could have scored easily that last drive. I have no respect for Turdlinson for not trying.
