Yea, I understand all this.

On paper the pats are the superior team and there's no question they should win. But I think you can throw the numbers out the window for this game. I'm viewing this game more like a div rivalry game. How many times have we seen a div rival rise up and pull out an unexpected win?

Well, no one is going to convince me that they Bolts AREN'T a dangerous team. But, in my mind, (and I totally accept I'm a Patriots fan and could have my mind clouded) the reason many of the regular cliches have gone out the window this year when team face the Pats is because this isn't just a GOOD offense. It is a truly historical one. Even games when the team has faltered, they have won in the end because with all the options Brady has, it seems truly impossible to shut down the receiving corp or exploit the O line for more than a couple of plays.

I DO think if the Pats are totally on top of their game, they are neigh-unbeatable this year. Their defense CAN be scored on, but with out some serious turn-overs/mistakes on the offenses part, they will score lots.

But, they play the games for a reason. The Bolts are a very good team. But with a banged up roster, I think the only way for them to win is for the Patriots to have a sub-par day.

As for the Ravens game, your comment pretty much proves that you just don't understand this New England team. This year's Patriots are never ready to accept defeat.
I suppose it's a matter of perspective. From my perspective if Ryan doesn't call the TO, game over, and the pats accept defeat.

Once the Colts lost, no nervousness at all. They were a good match up for us. The rest of these teams are door mats.

Aren't hypotheticals wonderful? When you inject the word "if", you can create any out come you wish.

The Ravens game is in the books. They lost.

very nervous when i think about the game. this is not going to be the 20 point walkover that some are expecting. i'm confident that we're the better team, that we will be better prepared and that should add up to victory, but it's gonna be a football game for 60 minutes.

"If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, wouldn't it be a Merry Christmas?"

If Vinatieri makes that kick, so much for your 8-0 second half

16-0 perfect season, 1-0 in playoffs...eat that and shove it. 18-0 after this game.:rocker:

a little when i think about the game...but even if we were playing the dolphins i would be a little nervous. am i worried...nooooooooo
