Interesting 05' steelers and 07' chargers comparison

i hope the similarities end sunday

The Steelers faced a team led by Jake Plummer in the AFCCG. Plummer choked so badly that Shanahan traded up to draft Cutler 3 months later. The Pats are not led by a journeyman QB notorious for reckless odd-handed passes and oodles of INTs.

I was thinking about that comparison after they beat the Colts. They are under the radar all year because of their start. Now they are playing at a high level. I still like our chances with the way our team is playing. Our defense still makes me a little nervous. But, that is just part of being a Patriots fan I guess.

It's still the same bunch of self-annoiting, undisciplined coach killers from last season. Far different any Steelers team.

The big difference will be we are the Pats with Tom. The Steelers played the Broncos with Jake.

I think Jaguars are a much better team than the Chargers. better coached, better disciplined, better QB, better D.

We're in trouble if we can't contain the underneath stuff. The longball is what gets on SportsCenter... but, it's the things that Welker and Faulk do underneath that kills defenses and ultimately wins games.

I think they are even, which is why I think that NE and SD are going to spar for a few quarters and then SD is just going to run out of time at the end.
