I admire the way the Jags run the ball. I think the twin-turbo combination really works, and they can be the difference in any game. They have "big play" written all over them as well as "pound it" and the OL and coaches have the right attitude. When they're hot, they're hot.
I think that the Pats' D can be very good against the run though. They've had moments when they were not, but generally they are a solid run defense. I think a lot of their few weak moments has had to do with decisions, like to bring the eighth guy into the box or not. Case in point: McGahee, who had great success until they brought Rodney into the box. End of running threat. You'd better believe when that coach says "Stop that guy" they're going to stop that guy. Anybody think the coach doesn't know when to pull that trigger?
Since the Pats will put up points, slowing that running game by 50% then causes the Jags a lot of problems. Slow down that running game by 50%, and you force a Garrad to beat a Brady at Brady's game, in Brady's house. Any takers for Garrad?
