I know alot of the talking heads are saying the Jags will beat the Patriots, and I know several articles have been posted suggesting the Jags are built to beat the Patriots.

However, I was still a bit surprised by the poll on NFL.com. It's simply a poll asking who will with the game. http://www.nfl.com/

As I type this over 70,000 people voted, and it's overwhemingly JAGUARS.

It's 55% saying the Jags will win, 44% for the Patriots. Not sure what happened to the other 1%.

I for one, LOVE this. The team hasn't lost a game through the entire season, and yet so many are sure the Jags will beat them?

The Patriots love this kind of dissing. Always have. I think the Pats will roll!!!

It is a conspiracy, I am telling you. NFL just wants Pats to win so they are rigging the polls to let Harrison play the no respect card. :D

Odd... The ESPN Poll shows a different vote.

This was it when I voted....

1) Which team will win?

36.0% Patriots in a close game
31.7% Patriots in a blowout
30.6% Jaguars in a close game
1.7% Jaguars in a blowout

2) Which unit is better?

56.7% Patriots' defense
43.3% Jaguars' offense

3) Which unit is better?

87.8% Patriots' offense
12.2% Jaguars' defense

4) Which quarterback would you rather have on a potential game-winning drive?

89.0% Tom Brady
11.0% David Garrard

5) Which group would you rather have?

70.3% New England's wide receivers
29.7% Jacksonville's running backs

6) Which coach will do a better job of preparing his team?

80.1% Bill Belichick
19.9% Jack Del Rio

7) How tough a place to play a postseason game is New England?

57.7% It's a big home-field advantage for the Patriots
36.1% It's a modest home-field advantage for the Patriots
6.3% If you have to go on the road, it might as well be New England

Total Votes: 75,388

As you can see, people think that the Patriots will win, but there are many that think that the Jags stand a chance. It may be a good game...

Keep in mind that these votes may come from people that just want to see the Patriots go down for one reason or another.... and on the other side, you have those that want to see the Patriots go all the way...

I am kind of surprised at the critics though..... *shrugs*

It's amazing the kind of respect 16-0 will buy you these days. (Not a whole heck of a lot).

People do realize that the Pats D is ranked 4th in points allowed, right?

Interesting! Thanks for sharing. I agree with what another poster said: Polls are meaningless.

Like I say:The Jacksonville Jaguars America's team this week, next week it will Indy/SD.

all this shows is that the people in Florida are once again very confused when it comes to voting! I blame it on hanging chads

Who gives a crap. Football isn't a popularity contest. I wonder the the NFL voters are putiing their money where the mouth is. Last time I looked the Pats were the favorite.

I guess I might as well go the mall with my wife Sat night.:(

Ask these same people to bet five thousand dollars of their own money on which team will win and I bet the numbers change then!!!!

Its all DOLPHIN FANS! Sheesh how many times can Shula and Mercury vote?

I think some people answer the question, "who will win" with "who are you rooting for".

I like the 11% who voted that they had more trust in Garrard than Brady :D

That's not as  as the ~20% who think Jack Del Rio will prepare his team better than the Hooded One.

You may be onto something.
What is the chance that the population looking at NFL.com is that much different from those of ESPN.com? Very small.
