Colts Trolls

Here's an official thread for Speed, Workhorse, CarolinaColtFan, and all the other Colt fans to talk. I'm getting sick of the hypocrisy. You go on a Colts chat room, like Indystar, and you get banned for life for saying anything pro-Pats or anti-Colts. On here, trolls are allowed to say whatever they want. Last time I checked, it's a Patriots forum, not a place for fans who won't be here the week after we beat their team.

Thanks, I appreciate the hospitality. Let me just say this. I dont post anywhere else but Colts Forum, so I dont know what you're talking about. The only thing I know is that you guys jump all over anyone here who isnt a Pats fan. I came on here a couple months ago to talk football, and have been nothing but attacked since. So call it what you want (trolling) but I am going to be as accomodating to you as you have been to me. When anyone questions one of your homers post injecting fact over fiction, all you are like wild dogs atacking the carcus of a dead deer. I find it funny myself, you dont make me look any worse. We have a few Pats fans over there that told me this is probably the worst Pats forum that exists, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. So I can talk football with you guys or I can throw jabs right back at you. You just need to look at my post history, and see how this has progressed. Thanks again!!

IMO, I think the Colts fans are usually the least trollish of the opposing team's fans that we get. Maybe because they're here so often since the Pats have played the Colts so much, but they usually don't bother me, and a couple of them are good posters.

Most of the other team's fans I can do without. And the Charger fan trolls are the worst.

Maybe you should get the lay of the land before spouting off like this. Workhorse has been here for a long time and I have never considered him a "troll". He always does his best to be respectful even when newbies (such as yourself) try to bait him. I don't know a whole lot about the other guys but from what I have read from Speed he seems to be here for good old fashion football talk, something that seems to be lacking here of late.

Gotta chime in here. I hate trolls, but you picked the wrong ones to pick on. I reserve judgement on Carolina..but Speed and Workhorse are very respectful and nice. Now HeBangedMe (tm someone funnier than me) and AsshatinIraq are a different story. Differing opinions are fine, there's PLENTY among the Pats fine themselves. I like to hear outside opinions to. There's been some good Steeler trolls, and a couple of not bad Charger trolls also. Not all trolls are bad.

Indystar is out of hand but there are some Pats fans that have been there a long time. They get more abused than anyone I've ever seen, but Dungy bless them, they keep coming back.

Sorry if I singled out the wrong people, but go on any Colts board and it's essentially an anti-Pats forum, then when any Pats fan chimes in, they're harassed or harassed until they're banned.

My hatred for Manning, Dungy, Polian and everything Colts goes beyond any hatred I've ever felt for the Yankees or any other sports team. I respect Torre (he's not there anymore obviously), Jeter, A-Rod and the Yankees as opponents. I have no respect for a quarterback that teabags innocent nurses and gets away with it and throws his offensive line under the bus when he loses a playoff game; a holier-than-thou coach that says "God prepared him for the Super Bowl by making his team have to come back against the Patriots"; and an owner that changes any rule to favor his own team and has the refs in his pocket.

Watching that team win last year was more painful than getting a finger wave.

I myself enjoy good football talk and you just can't get that at indystar anymore even if you are a colts fan the other colts fan blame each other for being pats fans. Or whatever team you happen to comment on doing something that isn't the colts. Im sorry but i get sick of reading 500 posts about did marvin fart today its kinda ridiculous.

Ya I would have to agree with you and the Charger fan statement, they have been all over all board, quoting all kinds of useless stats, and how they have the most talent of any team in the league, and on and on and on.

I actually think HeBanMe is pretty comical and he usually brings some good football talk to the table.

Regarding CarlinaColtFan; if you don't like the way you are treated here, I've got a simple suggestion. Hit the bricks, noone has a gun to your head forcing you to stay here.

You play the poor victim card to the max, talk about a drama queen, cry me a river............

I can appreciate that. I have similar feelings about the Patriots, but I do respect them. Fact is, they are really the only team I get anxious about playing. But that aside, I tink two opposing teams fan bases can discuss things without ripping one another to shreads, which unfortunately, is all thats happened to me here.

You are wrong about here. We have some very good Colts posters here and they are welcome. They don't run the Indystar chat room and should not be called out here because of what the Indstar does over there.

Guys like RyantheColt and Workhorse and some others are always welcome here.

We also get some jerks that come here, like they do on Colts boards, and they get banned.

Most of those guys are good. From what I see most on the forums, Workhorse, and Speed are good posters. Sure a lot of the colts fans that come here are trolls, but a lot of them are actually good fans.

So we're supposed to make this forum better by making it more like IndyStar?

There has certainly been a nasty troll invasion this year, simply because the Pats became the number 1 circled date on every team's calendar. (How many times did we hear "this is the XXX's Superbowl"?) Those true trolls swarmed, beat their chests, hurled insults...then vanished.

Meanwhile a guy like Workhorse has been here for years, offering some perspective on the Patriots' #1 rival through good times and bad. (While the OP just joined up this season, FWIW.) It seems to me that a good way to improve the signal-to-troll noise at patsfans.com is to engage posters like Workhorse in actual football talk rather than yelling at them to go home.

Id have to disagree with you, there are alot of pats fans on Colts.com forum and we usually have pretty good conversations. Pats troll, Dynasty13, Pats 4 life, undefeatedpatriots, are all pretty good guys. That doesnt mean we dont disagree, but I always listen to what they have to say, and sometimes I find that are opinions are not really that far apart.

lets not make this forum be a hostile environment from posters from other teams, this is not indystar... intelligent perspective posts from other teams fans should be respected and idiotic remarks and rants should not be tolerated... this is why many join this forum to talk intelligent football, thats why I joined this forum... lets keep it that way...
