That story is really trashy, they need to take it down. This is why Jacksonville hates the media. They did this with Fred Taylor over his completely harmless (and playful) remarks about the field at Heinz, and now they do it with this. Why don't we bring up the fact that Paul Spicer has a local radio show, and is tasked with forming and giving his opinion on these type of topics? Why don't we put more emphasis on the fact that this took place when the Patriots were 1-0 and the spygate topic was something people actually cared about? Why didn't they directly ask him if he thought the Pats earned the right to play in the playoffs? Answer: Because that was reachy, fabricated trash and needs to be re-thought and taken down. I'm a writer myself, but I would never reach for a story like that. That is not genuine and is the definition of trying to push an agenda. And if you don't think writers have an agenda, you've never been in the business. They do.
