From various reports:

rotoworld.com is saying that the NFC RB's are Adrian Peterson, Brian Westbrook, and Marion Barber. Besides Barber, the Dallas Cowboys have 10 other players in the Pro Bowl, according to sources: Flozell Adams, Leonard Davis, Nick Folk, Andre Gurode, Ken Hamlin, Terence Newman, Terrell Owens, Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware and Jason Witten. Details to come.

The Browns got 2 players in the Pro Bowl: Braylon Edwards and Josh Cribbs.

ALLEN, GONZALEZ MAKE IT FOR THE CHIEFS

In Kansas City, there hasn't been much to celebrate this year. And though we're not sure that having two players named to a meaningless postseason all-star game is cause for cracking out the flasks of fire water, we couldn't think of a better introductory sentence.

Anyway, defensive end Jared Allen is on the AFC Pro Bowl team, along with tight end Tony Gonzalez.

For Allen, it's his first time as a Pro Bowler. For Gonzalez, it's his ninth in eleven years.

Allen was suspended for the first two games of the year for violation of the Personal Conduct Policy, arising from a couple of drunk-driving incidents in 2006. He has 11.5 sacks in eleven games, and he's due to become an unrestricted free agent.

Team president/G.M. Carl Peterson has vowed to use the franchise tag on Allen.

I saw that Sean Taylor is listed as a starter as well.

Chris Hanson had the people's vote.

BOOOOO! LET THE PEOPLE CHOICE'S BEAST ALL OVER THE PRO BOWL!

5 colts, doesn't really matter, but when you are statistically a top 5 defensive team almost all year, you should get more than one defensive player. Meh, it's an exhibition/popularity contest.

And Wes should've made it as well. Maybe over TJ Whosyourmama?

Wes not making it . . .

Seriously, though, I can't argue with any of the guys taken ahead of him, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's the first alternate.

Here is the official announcement from the Patriots regarding the Pro Bowl:

Eight members of the New England Patriots have been selected to represent the Patriots and the AFC at the 2008 Pro Bowl in Honolulu on Feb. 10. QB Tom Brady, C Dan Koppen, T Matt Light, G Logan Mankins, WR Randy Moss, CB Asante Samuel, LB Mike Vrabel and DL Vince Wilfork have all earned All-Star honors.

Who are the WRs that made it?

Who are the WRs that made it?

AFC:

Randy Moss (starter)
Reggie Wayne (starter)
Braylon Edwards
TJ Houshmandzadeh

Although TJ has better stats, my biased opinion says that Welker brings more to the table with his return ability as well and should have made it. He probably is the #1 alternative as someone mentioned.

I would've figured the pro bowl took more than just 4 WRs. Hard to argue with those 4 though.

Do you guys think it will be weird for our 8 guys to be coached by Tony Dungy (more than likely)?

What about Adalius thomas?

Samuel reputational?? He's got what? 6 picks this year? 10 last year? He is a premier (ie..probowl) calibre player.
