Ricky Williams out for the season

Medical Mary Jane time

Damm, that pretty much eliminates the fins chances at a late season run for a wild card spot.

Did you see him get stepped on in that play? I'd be shocked if there wasn't a fine for that. Way after the play was dead and totally unnecessary.

What a shame, Ricky deserves a ring.

There was a live fumble on the ground. The play wasn't dead. But I'd still expect a fine for the stomp. It may not have been -intentional-, but it was unnecessary roughness, for sure.

Play was definitely still alive, but it looks intentional to me since the ball was going in another direction, and the LB had plenty of time to redirect his outstretched and locked leg... There wasn't even a flag thrown, that was nuts to me.

You're right I forgot about the fumble, but Ricky Williams was already down and out of play.

Where the heck is Aqua? This ought to be good.

Yeah, Williams was down. There was a bare spot of grass right next to Williams, so you'd think that Timmons could have avoided stepping on him.

And in the replay it doesn't even just look like he stepped on him, it looks like a step and then a stomp. If there's no fine I'll be surprised.

Particularly because it ended cheeba-boy's season.

At least he gets NFLPA benefits now. Also his salary. This is probably the best situation for him that there was.

you'd think ricky would have just sunk safely into the muck and felt no pressure

too bad, dude has problems but he did what he needed to to get back and this is what he gets.....someone in Miami ticked off the football Gods something fierce

Will he get to light up for medicinal purposes now?

Why did aqua already label him comeback player of the year before last nights game?:bricks:

What do you think? His delusion knows no bounds.

I feel bad for Ricky actually. Of course I feel nothing at all for Phins fans.

Ah well.

At this rate, Williams will have to play 18 more seasons to repay his debt to the Dolphins.

That sux.

Ricky is the sort of harmless offender who one hopes to see do well, even after some screwups.

The play was over when his shoulder was stomped on. If you could see the whole picture, when he was stomped on, the ball was covered by Steelers players and the ref was trying to pull bodies away from the pile. That's what I saw, could be wrong, but I don't think so

That's funny, I thought he looked pretty good other then the fumble on what, his 5th play in 2 years. He got that first down on his first play, what 7 yards when the other RB's couldn't before he came in.
