Just for levity's sake. Joe Horn on convicted animal abuser Michael Vick:

Q: As Michael Vick's teammate, how do you feel about this situation?

A: No one, I don't care if you're wealthy or poor, no one is immune to the trials and tribulations of life. Everyone who's breathing is going to have to deal with issues in their life. Unfortunately, Mike is up at bat right now.

What upsets me is if you don't know Michael Vick or haven't talked to him about how he feels, you shouldn't talk about the man until he's proven guilty or exonerated. Let the system take care of itself and take its course.

Q: Have you spoken to him?

A: I've spoken to him several times. Mike is saddened about the tension this is going to cause the team. I assured him I support him, the rest of the guys support him and the team supports him. Whether he's guilty or innocent or whether you believe he is, time will tell.

Q: The NFL commissioner has the authority to suspend Mike or the team can give him a leave of absence to focus on his legal issues. What about the possibility of not having Mike around?

A: I trust Coach [Bobby] Petrino's system, No. 1. I love Michael Vick as a person. Off the football field Mike will call me, we'll go golfing, we'll sit down and eat and talk about life. That's what I love about the man. Not having him around, that will hurt.

I think he should be around. The more he's around his family, his football family, his teammates playing football; it's what might help Michael Vick. I respect our commissioner but I don't think suspending him is going to help him. Michael wants to play football. He told me that over and over again. "I know what's going on but I need to be there playing and going through training camp to try and get through this." I told him over and over that good times will come again. Right now you're going through something and it's something you're going to have to go through.

Damn bitter washed-up players. I see what Vrabel means. I think Horn is actually old enough to have played with the '72 Dolphins.

Relax pal...I'm saying for purposes of argument.

Don't you realize that he was referring to Joe Horn, NOT YOU?

Re: Joe Horn goes off on Patriot "Cheaters". [Now, this is good bulliten board materi

I wonder what his former teammate (Stallworth) would have to say to Mr Horn.

Re: Joe Horn goes off on Patriot "Cheaters". [Now, this is good bulliten board materi

Joe Horn tried to say Mike Vick fighting dogs wasn't a bad thing, 'nuff said. :bricks:

well, takin video of a football sideline is way way way way way way worse than dog fightin! ;)

Joe Horn is what he is. :)

Not that I like Joe Horn at all, but what exactly is wrong with these comments?

Re: Joe Horn goes off on Patriot "Cheaters". [Now, this is good bulliten board materi

Lots of people feel exactly the same way.

"Illegal" camera filming, defensive signals, cheating. How is the super bowl not tainted?

Not saying I agree with them, but it's a sad thing.

"Lots of people feel the same way"?????

To this day, I haven't met one single person who feels this way.

Your question is EASY to answer. The Patriots got caught using the camera for ONE game and only one game. They didn't use it for any of the Super Bowls...unless you or someone else has proof to the contrary.

NO ONE can take what happened in the game against the Jets and just say everything before that was cheating...that's just blatantly stupid...but maybe you're right, there are a lot of stupid people out there!:D

Not stealing, but the rumor was that he impregnated teammate Willie Roaf's wife.

This is why Willie Roaf demanded a trade away from the Saint's.

Are you living in the NE region? If so, you need to travel outside to recognize that there are many outside the region who categorize what we did as "cheating" (and that it has been done for quite some time) irrespective of what most of us fans feel. We may think that most of them are stupid just as most of them think that most of us Patsfans are stupid if we can't admit this as cheating. ;)

Why go far? Just a couple of weeks ago on Inside the NFL, Chris Carter casually, and under no context, brought up spygate and talked bad about us. If a former player, now covering the games and on a hugely popular show, has little idea about what this was really about and proceeds to tarnish us in national TV, how do you expect most of the public - stupid or not - to behave?

Re: Joe Horn goes off on Patriot Cheaters. Now, this is good bulliten board material

Expect more of this from crappy players just so they can get the media to talk about them and to give them interviews on TV because they want to talk to them about it. How do you think Patrick Crayton has been getting all these interviews on ESPN lately? Because he runs his mouth. Expect more mud slinging from crappy players because it's their way of being able to get on TV and hear their names.

Patrick Crayton is actually a pretty good player. He'd never be a Patriot with that mouth, though.

I have to agree with NYCPatsfan. Evidently, you don't get out much.

Kind of obvious, isn't it?

His comments about taking it easy on Vick and being humane to someone who made a mistake is in DIRECT contrast to his wild swinging against Belichick.

He's a hypocrit. That was the poster's aim with posting the Horn comments about Vick. I think it clearly illustrates that.

Horn has no right to be making these statements about BB and the Pats after he made different statements about his own QB and team. He has no moral standing to be a morality judge.

I didn't say he had no LEGAL right to say it.

Sheesh.

Re: Joe Horn goes off on Patriot "Cheaters". [Now, this is good bulliten board materi

There should be a Morality Committee in the NFL next year. A representative will be at each game to levy fines against another team if they do not play the game the game with respect and honor.

If one team leads the other by three touchdowns at the half, 10 lb iron plates will be inserted in the winning teams shoulder pads to give the losing team an advantage. The winning team can always has to punt on fourth down no matter how close they are to a first or a field goal. The coach/QB/booth communication system will blare loud music and the QB and coach cannot remove their headsets unless they wish to be fined draft picks. The losing team will automatically start at their 40 yard line to start every drive regardless of where the other team kicks or punts the ball.

That should make every game more competitive from now on!

What does that have to do with anything? I've done drugs before. Does that mean my opinions are always wrong? I think Cris Carter is an idiot. However, it's not because he did drugs or had an alcohol problem.

Re: Joe Horn goes off on Patriot "Cheaters". [Now, this is good bulliten board materi

Hate on Horn all you want, but you must admit he has a point. A lot of teams in the past could have similarly blown teams out if they had so choosen. Cheatriots are doing it in attempt to "get even" because they were caught red handed. In reality they're just associating this season more with the cheating scandal for all time, which is the exact opposite of what they want to do.

56-10..........
