I am making this thread because I am so f*cking pissed at all these douchebags reporters who are literally on their knees to Peyton Manning.

Can someone please explain how in the name of god can some turd throw 6 interceptions and lose, yet be credited by leading his team to a comeback? HE LOST!!!! HE F*CKING LOST!!!! HE didn't lead his team back. HE LOST TO THE SAN DIEGO F*CKING CHARGERS!!!!!! A comeback would be losing by 10 with under 9 minutes left against the Colts and somehow win! Yet Tom Brady gets no credit. BECAUSE TOM BRADY ACTUALLY CAN MAKE A COMEBACK.

The nippleheads say that he struggled without Harrison or Clark. O BOO HOO!!! He STILL HAD Addai and Wayne. God forbid he doesn't have a future HOFer. Doesn't that statement alone mean he is a product of his receivers. I CANNOT BELEIVE THE FACT that these idiots still think the Colts can win, and if their binkie throws 1000 int, he still had a great game.

And then there is Bill Polian! Can someone explain to me how the hell this guy is on any sort of committee. Isn't it a conflict of interest that he is on the board for this first place. This guy *****es that his receivers get touched, new rule. He complains about fricken mascots, new rule. His team gets 99% of boarderline calls, and he gets screwed on one call, his kicker missed a 29 yarder, and somehow he *****es. POLIAN STFU!!!!! Don't whine because you lost.

:bricks: God, I am so sick of these Colts homers. They lose yet somehow they are great. Manning sucks and throws 6 INT yet he has the edge on Tom Brady. I know my team is better and the Dolts are whiny *****es, but I can't stand this crap.

hey!...I'm supposed to be the resident crazed Colt hater around here!

you'll be hearing from my attorneys...

Why the giant change of heart since last night when you couldn't understand why the rest of us took great joy in Cold Hard Football Facts ripping Dr. Z for doing what you're claiming is now driving you nuts now?

I read it, and it helped. But after hearing Clayton I started to get chest pains.

thats funny...Clayton started getting chest pains and the doctor told him that was just the onset of puberty

Doesn't anyone here remember Peyton's "media image" up until February of last year? He even poked fun at it on SNL after the Superbowl. Anyone in any other sport who had talent & stats but 'couldn't win the big one' was the "Peyton Manning of tennis, basketball, skating, etc."

Peyton was "the choker."

So, naturally, there was a repreive on that after he finally did win "the big one," and even some celebration, because a lot of people don't like to see a guy get saddled with a reputation like that - it becomes an underdog story. That has carried over to this season.

And it's not like Brady is without love. He's getting tons of praise this season.

So what if the media are Manning rump swabs?

You realize that whining about Manning's success is no different than all the fan losers of the other 31 teams b!tching and moaning about the Patriots success.

As BB would say, "It is what it is." and "It's not something we can control."

here we go again

I completely agree with you, but my problem is that his success wasn't a success, HE LOST THE GAME and they still are sucking him off.........that's the problem......

He is a great QB and one of the best of all-time, but when he has a bad game it needs to be written that he had a bad game. It doesn't need to talk about how valiant he was throwing six INT's. The defense kept them into and got them back in that game. End of story.

They did the same thing w/ Romo after his 6 turnover performance against the Bills. The ONLY difference is that his kicker made the longer field goal at the end, and Peyton's missed the chip shot.

Besides, most articles I'm reading now are saying things like "after his terrible performance against the Chargers," etc.

If Peyton Manning got caught robbing a bank, the rump swab media would report about how brave he was to go to such great lengths to feed his family. That he would do whatever it took to take care of them. I can't take it, I say, I can't take it!

Why are you letting the media take away from enjoying this season? Let them kiss Pay-a-ton's ass. Let them trashtalk Brady, Bellichick, Moss, and whoever else. Let them call the Pats classless.

My team's 9-0, and I'm witnessing the greatest single season ever by a quarterback, the greatest offense the NFL has ever seen, and likely just the second undefeated season ever. It feels great to say that, and there's not a single thing the media can say that's going to change that.

Actually, Peyton's been a bit of a problem since the second half of 06, no?

You have to wonder... has he hit some wall? It's way too early to put it quite that starkly. But it's worth mention that he's well on the wrong side of 30. Even though some QBs hold up seemingly forever, others don't.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think we're about to start the Jim Sorgi era. But we could be witnessing the beginning of the end.

Or, we could be witnessing that he sucks when no absolutely surrounded by pro bowl talent.

Eh well. Live and learn, die and forget it all.
