Sundays are SPECIAL !

I dont know how many of you are going through your daily life compared to mine at the moment. I'd like to bet even though i am many many miles away in Bahrain that at least 80% of you that read this must be going through similar situation. I have always loved Sunday to come quickly , and always loved watching games even if our Pats wernt Live on tv. Put it simply, I LOVE NFL FOOTBALL. Right now Sundays cant come quick enough and all during the week i daydream plays of Tommy throwing to Moss on long deep throws or Samuel picking off quarterbacks for touchdowns etc,etc.
Sometimes in life there are sad situations or stressfull days at work or business, but always at the back of your mind there is Sunday ! You get excited and hyped and all of a sudden you dont worry about anything. You make sure that you never, NEVER see anyone Sunday evening from 8pm { we are 7 hours ahead of Eastern} and stay glued to the PATS game on TV or listen on the internet.
After being a fan from 1985, i know why these days are SPECIAL, and know what we are witnessing. We are the envy of the World even more now than when we won the 3 rings. Sundays are special even more because we are witnessing History.
I tell my son that every week. It wont happen again. Yes i know we are only half way in the season but inside i know its happening. DESTINY. After this season, God Willing, THE DYNASTY of all time is written in the books. I dont know about you guys but dont you feel on top of the World every Sunday ? I do. PEACE. GO PATS.. Abdul.

I always wondered what it would have been like to be around in the 1960's awaiting the next Beatles album to come out. THAT is probably like waiting for the next Patriots game this year. You know greatness will be seen when it happens, you just don't know how and in which form.

I agree with both of you, the only problem is the fact that Sundays make my weekends less enjoyable because I look forward to Sunday too much... even on Saturday. And as soon as the games are over, I'm hit with the reality that Monday is looming in the shadows. That's painful to me.

I too am very far away. Amman, Jordan. I live in Canada but I'm here and I wish I was there because I'm going to miss the game of the year tomorrow unless Aljazeera decides to broadcast it. Probably not.

Shmessy, that was a very insightful remark--about waiting for the next Beatles album. I'm old enough to have done that, and believe me, the feeling was very similar. You were 99% sure you were going to be amazed and delighted and you couldn't wait for the day to come.
