Conservatives, or "right-wingers" as you refer to them, = Nazis has been the clarion call of the American Left for over a quarter-century. This statement is an insult to those who suffered and died under Nazi Germany and, for two years its unindicted co-conspiritor, Communist Russia.

Besides, we shouldn't be so naive to think that purposely injuring our QB has never crossed the minds of our previous opponents, or our future opponents, or - most especially - our current opponent.

He just said that CBS Sportsline has given the Pats bulletin board fodder because "five out of six experts picked Indy to win". Dennis failed to notice the little disclaimer of the picks on the top of the page:

I actually tuned in to listen to Dale and Holley who are at least somewhat listenable. Dennis and Calahan were just still on. I don't listen to those two bozos at all.

Honestly, it's so tiresome. It's the same exact thing over and over and over and over and over until the end of time. Why can't anyone talk football on EEI? I mean real football, Xs and Os, strategy, analysis of the two teams playing this week, etc. DeOssie on the Big Show is the only redeeming football stuff. Well, maybe Dale & Holley have some but I don't get to listen to them much.

Yeah, this running up the score crap is incredibly stupid. I want Jason Wolfe's job. Programming for WEEI has to be the easiest job. It consists of going to ESPN.com and finding the hottest story and then beating the story to death on the radio and twice as hard if it involves a local team.

Amazing how the all too typical MA libs posting here get their panties all in a wad because a guy on a morning sports and news commentary show expresses non-PC opinions. Take your own advice those of you listing the myriad other morning venues and Just Don't Listen.

Although I don't like their MLB obsessed show except for Patriots Monday, I must confess to occasionally listening to the headlines segment where I enjoy Callahan going ballistic over the latest left wing nonsense. I admit it's a guilty pleasure.

Let's not forget the morning following the loss in January..All they went on about then,for the whole week, was the fact that BB didn't stick his tongue down Manning's throat after the game..It's always something new for him to pontificate on...

Not that I'm a liberal, but I don't enjoy having conservative talk shoved down my throat either, particularly on a sports radio.

Almost every sportradio station in the country has a period of non-sports talk. Imus, for example, was on WFAN. It's not always conservative, and it's not always liberal. Your argument makes no sense at all. Then again, neither do the complaints about Dennis and Callahan, since modern radios allow people to just change the station.

D&C are useless, not because they "question" but because they are contrarian for the purpose of generating contraversy. they try to bully callers into a trap where they can always look right. Holly punking them this morning during the crossover when they tried to get him to say that vrable hurting his shoulder was a result of the Pats running up the score was priceless. Holly don't take their sh!t and can form a good arguement, as opposed to the Fat-O who is the anti-D&C.

I listen to Dale and Holly and try and only listen to D&C for the guests like Adam Scheffter, who I'm not sure will be on their show anymore after he made them look dumb by refusing to say the pats are running up the score

I love how a caller tried to bring that up one time and they bleeped it out, dead air for about 20 seconds. It's OK for them to call anybody out, but they don't even have the balls to let somebody bring the Metco incident up without censoring it. Embarassingly cowardly.

All that said, I still listen to these guys half the time b/c the options are so few. It's a monopoly.

You know what, point well taken and I apologize for employing such metaphorical language in past postings on this thread. This exchange does illustrate the potential pernicious effects of mixing politics with sports! If we all stuck to the Patriots we would all be on the same side (troll participation not withstanding of course). Instead we bicker about left wing vs. right wing, start insulting each other, etc. when this forum is dedicated to all of us in our support of our football team. Why bring politics into it like D & C insist on doing? We are all comrades in arms in support of our great football team. We all devote our time and resources to be a part however small of supporting our team. Bickering about politics is a distraction, and worse a way to take away the unity of our devotion to our team! No matter what else separates us in terms of politics, religion, ethnicity, etc., we are all united in our support, our devotion, and our allegiance to the greatest football team of the new century. We are three days removed from a game for the ages, let's get our attention back there, where it belongs.
