I was actually rooting for the Jets today. I don't want their draft pick to be too high.

I would love for the jets to get a high draft pick. Chances are it won't be a franchise type player and then they have to spend a huge amount of payroll on one guy who is unproven......if I've learned anything from BB, it's that lower 1st round pics are the way to go!

It's officially time time to start rooting for the jets to win. I don't think their talent level is as bad as their record indicates, and the last thing we need is for the jets to draft top 10 in every round of the 2008 draft. So, say it with me, I know it's hard...LET'S. GO. JETS!!!!

Logically you are correct - but I'm not rooting for those bastards. No way in hell.

What I REALLY would enjoy this year is Mangini having a worse record than Herm, despite having arguably a better roster. That would absolutely SHRED jet nation.

RR is back, JC

No way 23. Can't do it. Besides, I sleep comfortably knowing the Jets will frig up a top 10 choice anyway.

We NEED them and the Fish to win 3/4 games or they will be picking
#1 and #2 next year

I wouldn't worry about the Jets. Even if the next Dan Marino were staring them in the face... they'd draft a tight end! LOL.

As for the Doofins, didn't they just pass on the next Dan Marino to draft a glorified punt returner?? When will the Fish fans admit that drafting Ginn Jr. in the 1st round was a mistake??

Maybe one or two here don't but the booing at the Dolphins draft by the fans spoke very clearly.

Nah, not a concern, really. The more the Jets lose, the more the fans, media, even players will turn against Mangini, ultimately costing him his job. That's a fate he deserves, and the sooner the better.

note to rats fans:
ur team can dress up to look like the rams but u still cant score.
ur team has no identity, just like your coach

Hey Mangini...............stop snitching!

hypocrite

i don't care where the jets draft. they have no clue anyway. the nfl is about wins and losses and the jets organization are a bunch of losers. i will NEVER root for a ny team to win.

I just THANK GAWWWD-A ALMIGHTY that Missingini is no longer our D-coordinator. This imposter would be giving us all a heart attack.

The Jest will be lucky to win 4 games this year. So now the focus should be on how humiliating those losses will be.

They have already accepted losing this year. The Rat is no longer a genius but a moron to Jest fans. So, the only way it can get better is that the losses become more humiliating. That Mangini makes calls and decissions that lead directly to these losses and the fans and press turn on him even more. That he is held lower than Rich Kotite.

That's what I'm talkiing about.

I think that first sentence is correct. I left the rest in because I knew it felt good to type, and I don't want to distract from the main thrust of your stuff.

Looking at Eric Mangini (and, by the way, the "Mangenius" stuff didn't just become stoopid this season) on the sidelines during the game, watching him react to team adversity, he struck me a immature. I thought the same thing when I heard his very first press conference - a cliche festival - but, after a handful of games, I figured I had made an unfair assessment. Now, I'm not so sure. He looked immature, and there's no positive way to spin that, because if that's MY impression, then the team must sense it also. Some of the post-game comments, openly questioning play calling, prove the point.

I'm willing to watch the team perform poorly, as long as I see heart in their play. But I'm thinking that this coach is suddenly wondering who he can call for help, and finding his speed-dial relatively empty. He needs to grow up. On his own. Pretty quickly.

I watched this game yesterday and the Jets were awful (and still had a chance to tie the game, that's how bad Philly is). I hope that Chad stays their QB for the next few years. I have no idea how his recievers stay healthy. He lobs the ball to them (when their was no need to lob it) and they are getting "jacked up!!!".
