So...do the Colts and Pats even play this year?

Man this got outta hand quickly

Yeah, I was actually (gonna try) to post something intelligent too. But when I wasn't looking, the thread suddenly desended into a regular Jr. High playground scrum

I figured, why bother.

I strongly disagree. The Colts are the Champs and as of now have won 8 games in a row, the Defense is playing strong the offense is not clicking and is still scoring 31 ppg. Plus the AFC South is the toughest divison in football right now. Who have the Pats played?? http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Articles/2_987_2007_Quality_Standings.htmlI I have faith in the champs
Who cares? Both teams won every game they played this year. I hope you do score 31 points, your magnificent average, next November, as long as we score 38 points, our average. :D

Fact is, no one has any idea what the relative conditions of the teams will be in a month and a half? For all we know you will be playing with Sorgi and we will be playing with Cassel. There will be plenty of time the week before the game to talk about it. In the meantime, enjoy the games being played this week.

You won a superbowl. There is no need any more to validate your team by beating ours. It's one of 16 games, slightly more important becasue of tie breaker ramifications. But you ought to be focused on your team trying to repeat, and revel in each game. You don't have to base your season's success on whether you beat us or not.

Don't be a Charger fan and focus on us.

The tuck rule example is how a call or non call can turn a game around. If it was called a fumble the game is over. Just like if the holding call on Reggie Wayne was called the Titans don't get back into the game and that INT is erased. Therefore all three of our wins are easy. Which doesn't mean a damn thing when January comes around.

This is not the extent of the claim you made about the tuck rule:

We both know bad non calls can turn a game around *coughs* tuck rule *coughs*

Now you're conveniently omitting the erroneous attack you made in an effort to look as if you were being reasonable and were wrongly responded to. You weren't.

You should read that link I posted in my last post. Those teams have shown nothing to suggest they will be any good this season (Jets, Bills), even though Chargers still should make the playoffs. The Titans and Texans are strong divisional opponents who play the Colts twice a year. Last year the Colts went 0-3 on the road against divisional opponents. This year they are already 2-0. Now the Saints are looking a lot weaker week by week but the Colts D still stopped them at fullpower.
You win a paper Lombardi by showing that on paper you should win. Don't store it near open flames.

I told you the Colts played a burn the clock type of offense and defense in the 4th. I watched the game i know when my team does certain things or not. We let them methodically move down the field in the 4th quarter, because when you're up 27-10 and you want to burn clock in the last quarter and you can do that. They went on 2 70+ yard drives that's time consuming when you're trying to come back from a 17 point deficit.

So with their best receiver out they couldn't score until the defense played a prevent defense, yup that shows we're squeaking by week in and week out. LOL!

Just like if the holding call on Reggie Wayne was called the Titans don't get back into the game and that INT is erased. Therefore all three of our wins are easy. Which doesn't mean a damn thing when January comes around.

You mean like that non-existant pass interferance call in the endzone against Hobbs last year. Or the non-call on Caldwell when he got tackled before the ball got there?

You're trying to highlight the fact i called it a bad call when that wasn't what i wanted you to get out of my illustration. The point i wanted to make was calls can turn games around. The 'bad' part was my opinion about the call.

No, it was you being a troll. And for a Colts fan to talk about bad calls after the AFCCG is a rich bit of irony, to say the least.

So, you endorse creating single parent homes? If you are "good looking" enough, that makes it ok??

No, but I also dont endorse commenting on someones personal life when you dont have a fuking clue about the facts....

But dont let facts get in the way of a whiny Colt fan...

Brady 3 rings Panty Whining 1 ring....

Nows whos better dip$hits.

So that begs the question, why was the whole Patriots defense huntched over trying to catch their breath's .

Because the heat in the dome was turned up beyond acceptable limits which along with the flue that 16 Patriot players had might have caused players to be winded and dehydrated....

But again dont let facts get in the way of your whining.

So those calls made us score 32 second half points. We both know penalties slow down the game. So that begs the question, why was the whole Patriots defense huntched over trying to catch their breath's if so many penalties were called, couldn't they fake an injury like Willie Mac?

No it's actually irony when Pats fans know how i felt after the 2003 AFCCG when receivers were held among other things.

Waaaaa waaaaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaa waaaaaa

But when the defense goes to the sidelines they get a cup of Gatorade, have you not seen the commercials Gatorade puts back what sweat takes away so that's no excuse.

Now this is irony, a Pats fan complaining about the playing conditions, How about BB making the field sloppy for the Colts in two playoff matchups in the razor?

Haha look at how high and mighty the colts have gotten after winning 1 sb. All that rage coming out thats been built up over the years of failing?

You seem like a good fan for the most part Belichick but it's sad you go to the tired excuses thing that a lot of other Pat fans do. Yes, the Colts were the best team last year because they won the SB. Until someone knocks them off they are still the defending champs and on top. Also the dome has become one of if not the hardest place to play in the NFL. You act like the Colts didn't have injuries all of last year? Stokley, Reagor, Harper, Doss, Simon. The Colts were no where close to their full strength during anytime last season and they still pulled it out.

The Colts Defense is significantly upgraded by the way, if you haven't been watching the games

we look forward to hearing from you after the Pats/Colts game to see what excuse you have then. The only on who has ever come back is Ryan...the others just disappear for some reason.

I hate the Pats but this is not rage. How can i have rage in me when we're the defending champs and have a better team this year than last. Things are looking good.

As you smash your keyboard in a rage  Look at this guy. Captain colts over here. Standing up for colts fan the world over on the pats board. I would hope you have a better team then last year. Anyone with a pulse would have a better run defense then the colts last year.

Here is the skinny cupcake. The colts beat up on the saints. They are terrible. One of the worst teams in the NFL. The colts should have lost to the titans. It was luck they got out of that one alive. The colts beat a team minus there star wr and starting running backs by 6 points in the Texans. Why are colts fans proud of this? Honestly thats laughable. The only legit win you have is vs the titans. It was not even a nice win either.

The colts have not proven anything yet. The pats are playing minus Seymour and Harrison which is the same as the colts playing minus freeney and sanders. You would suck.

Please just shut up.

with all the other news going around it seems that the fact is lost that one of the biggest (most hyped) games in regular season history will be going down in a few weeks. Pats come to the Dome for the last time ,new look Pats against the defending champs. Anybody else wish it was next week?

It's risky business for either of our teams to look too far ahead. But, yes, it will be a war, the exact nature of which we won't fully understand until we see the W-L records of each team at the time and, of course, the impact of injuries.

Who cares about looking pretty while winning. We've been a contender for a while now what do they have to prove? The Colts are the defending champs what do they have to prove? Our run defense sucked but we still went 10-0 and spanked the Pats in that ten game win streak. The Pats won't even sniff a 10-0 record. LMAO!

Will you still be here if the Pats beat the Colts, or will you just never come back?

You are the same guy talking about who the pats play , yet you say who cares about looking pretty while winning. Fact is the saints are horrid, the titans should have beat you, and you played the texans minus there best players. By the way no one over the age of 12 types "lol".

The pats went on a 21 consecutive game win streak before einstein. They hold the record bone head. Keep making excuses as to why the pats are better statistically then the colts.

Wait till someone actually has to miss some playing time on that team. Can you imagine how your defense would play minus Freeney and Bob " I play in 2 games per year" Sanders. The pats have the best d in the NFL minus there two all pros : )

No it's actually irony when Pats fans know how i felt after the 2003 AFCCG when receivers were held among other things.

Given that one set of examples was within the established manner of calling the rules and the other wasn't, once again you show that you have no intellectual honesty.

threads like this are why I am growing increasingly frustrated with this board. 18>12 ruined this thread with the help of a few of the locals.

Lord forbid we have a civil discussion around here.

Holding wasn't legal. Get out of here.

1.) No Colts fan has any right to complain about holding given the tactics of that team's offensive line.

2.) Holding was not the issue in that game, it was the location of contact (past 5 yards). Your illustrious GM couldn't win with the rules as they were enforced at the time, so he got them changed.
