Troy Brown...Where is he?

Is he even practicing with the team? Anyone know? I never heard that he was placed on PUP,I am thinking that's where he wound up? Its weird as hell not seeing Troy out on the field.

He was at the Sox game last week. My colleague was lucky enough to sit 3 seats down from him in the HP pavillion. She said he couldn't have been friendlier... or cuter

i am thinking that if there was ever a chance that the pats would cut him when he got off pup....there is no way now. afther this mess and the solidarity the players showed...troy has his spot guaranteed.

And BB also knows that if Troy got cut, he'd get a call from Mangini about 5 minutes later to invite him to a workout. I doubt Troy would ever go but just the possibility would be enough of a PR disaster for the Krafts that they'd never even risk it by cutting him.

I am not so sure about this. Whom do you cut instead? I wonder if they'll put him on IR. If a player is on IR, can he be a coach of the team? I just don't see BB keeping a player keeping a player for PR reasons only.

I had word he was supposed to be cut this week. However, perhaps it has now been delayed. The players who already know are bummed out about it so perhaps it's not going to happen now. I posted this on Monday but it was removed by the forum cops . You know ... no link - no proof - no post. They're just jealous they don't get inside information . When he gets cut perhaps they will apologize about it :nono: . I would post more stuff from the locker room but it's too much of a hassle getting edited out and I don't have much time to post like I used to.

Should we get hit by the injury bug, Troy might play, otherwise he's through.

Gawd, I just hope that the losing, choking ways of the Desperate Housewives didn't rub off on my man Troy.

They can't cut him unless they come to an injury settlement, they'll likely just IR him.

Well, that's just wrong. Speculation is what we do here. If we can say BB is about ready to cut Moss, as several did here, you should certainly be able to post what you believe is going to happen.

Well, first off if Troy is healthy and in light of our unprecedented depth at WR, I think we can live without Gaffney just fine. If anything it would get Washington some needed additional reps. I do agree with you that BB would typically not keep a player around merely to avoid bad PR. Milloy was a classic case. However this is not a typical year from a PR sandpoint for obvious reasons. BB is smart enough to know that he and the Krafts, especially this year, don't want the PR hit from the fanbase that even the possibility of losing Troy to Exit 16W would cause. What Troy has represented and continues to represent to the franchise is just too valuable. I agree with posters who say that they may just IR Troy after the PUP period expires and deal with it in the off-season, hopefully while basking in the glow of another Super Bowl victory.

Ludicrous.
BB will keep the best players. Troy is not the Troy of old. Off to IR unless some WRs get injured. No way he cuts Gaffney for Troy.

Who cares whom the Jets sign? They'll still LOSE.
