As the thread originator, I agree 100% with your assessment here! I don't want to hear anything about being banned from a political site. He's probably a good guy, but saw an opportunity to discuss something that has bothered him for a long time.

My point was that all sorts of these forums (patsfans, JI, chargers.com, whatever) ban all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons. While I maintain my belief that my response to your post was perfectly on topic, I gladly offer you an apology and will completely drop out of this thread lest things continue to spiral.

Oh, but I did have a follow up question... purely out of curiousity... is that forum an official team website, or an "unofficial" one started by fans...?

You are the expert on getting banned,suspended, and the ever popular assclowing(s).

I don't know if Shmessy has ever brought up your multiple bannings,ect. So when you say "Mod's", what other mod's here have brought up your multiple bannings, suspensions, and assclowning(s)?

It would have to be more than one because you used the word Mod's. And, how many mod's are you calling hypocrites since you used the plural for that too, so there has to be more than one?

Maybe you can just give us a list by name so everyone knows, if you have the guts.

Your comments are out of line, in my opinion, because what you just did is precisely what you are crying about the Chargers site doing to you, except that you don't have the power to enforce your crying. Your thread doesn't even belong on the Patriots forum, if you want to get technical. It's nothing but whining about the way you were treated at another team's forum, as opposed to being about the Patriots.

I don't find any problem with you venting about it, but to turn around and assail someone else for doing it is hypocritical.

If you actually read what PatriotsReign's post was in the SD site, it was ALL about the Patriots. Further, the SD site's banning of him was ALL because of the Patriots.

Further, PR's post there was football smack in a football smack forum.

Who gives a rat's ass why he was banned on some other team's site (And I've read every thread that site has on its first two pages)? That's not about the Patriots, that's about the habits of another site. For the record, Chargers.com IS the official website of the SAN DIEGO CHARGERS, not a subsidiary of the New England Patriots or Patsfans.com. It's a site that's well known for banning non-homers at the drop of a hat, and it's a site that has a host of terrible posts, threads and members as a result. Patriotsreign was banned because the CHARGERS site banned him, not because of the Patriots.

I tend to like your normal posts. However, QuiGon wasn't talking politics, he was commiserating with someone who got banned for a reason that poster deemed unfair, and your attitude about his posts was shameful.

Also, I really like PATSNUTme when he's not unfairly attacking a poster on the site in a manner more appropriate to a troll than a moderator (the poster has been allowed back in by Ian and that should be an obvious signal for one of Ian's moderators to back off). Why did you not jump on PATSNUTme for his comments on this thread? Is this thread about Dannyboy and his presumed racism?

The bottom line is that you were not only wrong, you were selective in your attacks.

I agree with that. I have no problem with other teams' fans being here.

My problem with this site in the past was more along the lines of spamming, starting multiple inane threads, posting the same tired arguement again and again and again thereby raising the noise to signal ratio to intolerable. Lately with cameragate and everyone wanting to start their own threads every time a thought crosses their mind on the topic this site has degraded. Given time I hope it returns to its recent excellence.

I did not mention "racism" and "racism" is not an issue. I have a problem with his bigotry which he has never explained or apologized for. But, that had nothing to do with my post to him on this thread. I never mentioned that he was a bigot on this thread, not once.

He called out mods as hypocrites. If he is going to do that, he should have the guts to name them by name, don't you think? No one baited or called him out to make that post. He did it all on his own.

You atleast named me as troll. That's your opinion and maybe your are content to have a poster who makes bigoted comments vailed or overt. And BTW, I'm not a mod on this forum.

In the past and in the future I will go after him when he posts things about Bob Kraft or anyone else that are bigoted or if he calls out others. If you think that is harse then complain to Ian about it.
