What player is gonna make the biggest impact for the Patriots this Sunday night?
I'll pick 2 one on offense and one on defense.
I'll pick Donte Stallworth on offense I really think they will pay a lot of attention to Moss and use a safety and a linebacker to try to double cover Welker out of the slot and backfield.
So I think Stallworth will have some chances at some big plays on single coverage.
As far as defense I have to go with Ellis Hobbs he is a fierce competitor a hall of famer:rocker: also was the target of Phillip Rivers calling him the worst corner in the league.
Ellis is healed he's pumped he's ready to go he's gonna have at least one critical interception just my opinion.

I'll have to go with Ben Watson because SD safeties cannot cover him. For defense I pick Adalius Thomas. He was all over the field last week and nearly had an INT. Hope he shuts Gates down. Could NE get away with five linebackers, one safety and two CBs?

Egad. I had to go 9 pages back to find the last actual per game post for the upcoming game.

As I was watching the Chicago game last week it looked like the had the personnel to fill the box and shut down Tomlinson. Do you think the Patriots will employ or can employ the same strategy? If they have the personnel to do it I think that will be the key to the game. The one thing Chicago couldn't do was sustain a drive and hold onto the ball. This was ultimately what did them in. The defense couldn't get their rest and it was just a matter of time.

With the risk of stating the obvious i think that if the patriots "D" can keep Tomlinson in check there's a good chance things work out better than they did for the Bears. The offense for the Patriots has more talent and realistically give the Chargers more headaches.

Maroney NEEDS to show in this game he can be our main back for now and in the future - We are going to need a great running game to beat the Chargers IMO - So if we win Maroney is going to be the impact player.

Wes Welker is my oter choice on offense

Defense - There is no better choice than to hope Junior Seau shows his old team of how much gas he has left,Heres hoping the old man can do it and play well

The Fans. They need to let the players know that they are behind them.

THE TWELFTH MAN! You dawgs better cheer your guts out and leave them in the seats!!!!

I'm gonna say Faulk. Perfect guy to help slow down the Charger pass rush.

My thought is Adelius will have to have the biggest impact. I suspect BB will have schemes put in place to keep Tomlinson form running wild. That's where Rivers to Gates comes in. I think if Gates can be nuetralized Rivers becomes vulnerable and it's game over.

I had to retrieve this from page two. After reading all, well a lot, of the posts from the last few days. The player who I really want to have a MONSTER game: Mr. Brady. Can you hear the media throngs if Brady plays even mediocre. It must be the signals. Not to mention shutting up these San Diego idiots, who by the way feed off the Charger players who have been trash talking Chicago all week. You do remember them blowing out Chicago, right. Tom Brady, would shut up a hill of a lot people by having a MONSTER game. BRA-DEE, BRA-DEE, BRA-DEE.

The O line has to have a second steller game this week. Keep the offense on the field, give D plenty of rest and run up the score!!!!
Individually - Donte and Jabar will have big games!
